This solves a problem with my wired USB phone connection in my car. The head unit only had a slow charger so I can’t really charge while listening to music. When I occasionally need it, this lets me charge with my fast charger and use an aux cable to listen to music. Not a perfect solution, but cheaper than buying a new head unit, especially for occasional use.

I bought a new iPhone 16. In case you weren't aware, Apple has changed the connector on their phones from the "Lightning" blade style to a USB-C style connector. I am a trucker and I use a Far End Gear single ear device to listen to music and news while I drive. The ear piece has a microphone, but the new phone won't allow the mic to work. I suppose it's because Apple wants to force you to buy a set of expensive Bluetooth earpieces. I have an older Blue Parrot headset that paired up just fine with the new phone, but I've never been able to listen to music or any audio on that device, just phone calls. The reason why escapes me. Believe me, I've tried everything. Anyway, the important thing was to be able to listen to audio from my phone and also be able to charge it while I do so. These dongles do exactly that.

Neither of the units shipped to me worked. I plugged in a powered power adapter cord into the input of the unit and plugged the unit into my cell phone power and there was no power throughput at all. I tried two different cords and two different power adapters that worked when I plugged them into my cell phone. But the unit does not allow power to go through it from the powered cord to the cell phone.STAY AWAY! Not a good use of your time or money.BTW - Item case is thin and doesn't feel like it'll stand up to use long term.

As expected.

The adaptor fits the iphone perfectly and it allows me to charge the phone while listening to Spotify on headphones.

I just got an iPhone 16 and had to buy a connector for my ear buds. I boughtthis one thinking it would be great because I could charge my phone at the same time that I was using my headphones. However, the headset jack did not work - this was a 2-pack and neither one worked.
