VansCLASSIC SLIP-ON Summer 2015

Great shoes, but make sure you get the correct size US/UK. I had a bit of trouble with this, but in the end it worked out for the best because I recalled that some years ago I bought a UK size 9 - which fit perfectly - only to find that I was unable to fit an athletic insole into them because it made them too tight - and they don't have any laces to loosen. Putting an insole into these Vans makes them REALLY comfortable - effectively doubling the amount of cushioning for your feet - and you can fit insoles with arch supports if you want. Remember that Vans - like Converse - are totally flat inside - there are no arch supports. This is OK for some things - like riding a skateboard or playing the drums - but not others. If you walk any appreciable distance in them, your feet will kill! This goes for any Vans - or Converse for that matter.For this reason, I would suggest going for half a size larger in this particular model and fitting a supportive insole.

My son has scoliosis and has to wear a brace to support his spine and back, as a result he finds putting on shoes with laces a real challenge.He already has a pair of Van's lace up trainers which he loves to wear but he asked if he could have these chequered slip on shoes for Christmas.He loves them and has worn them almost everyday since Christmas day, he finds them very comfortable and easy to get on without the need to bend forward too far.They look great on him and being Vans they are of excellent quality and I know will last him a while, though keeping them clean may be challenging.

As we all know Vans are usually around £40-£50 quid. I'm a female with size 4 feet so this pair of vans only cost me £25 including VAT which is AMAZING to start with!Secondly the shoes came extremely quickly (within 3 days of ordering) which i was extremely happy about considering the estimated delivery was 5 days after the actual delivery date.As a pair of trainers they're probably the comfiest pair of Vans i have. I have 4 other pair, but all being classics (with laces) and this is my first pair of thick soled slip ons and i love them!Been looking for a white pair of trainers for summer for a while and these are just perfect. Like i said theyre really really comfy (I got a UK 4 which is US Mens size 5/US Womens 6.5).Would definitely purchase more of this style and from amazon again as they did such a good value deal!x

A simple functional slip on, in plain black, reasonably comfertable.They have a thickened bar around the top edge of the ankle fitting which is better for narrow ankles, but it is a small bar and the thickening quickly softens up to accomodate the ankle.The stretch around the edges of the top panel are quite good.The sole is a resin coloured markless sole, although the black edges of the sole that hide the resin coloured section, can leave marks on the floor of scrapped along it during rapid motion.Sizes were well sized comparitive to other shoes.All in all a good functional slip on that worked for what I wanted it for, and shows no signs of wear and tear after about a week of use.

It very pretty and nice. It is quite a tight fit, so those with wide legs would struggle with this shoes.

I recently bought these as I have worn out my other Vans shoes, and these were excellent. Original Vans, and they came one day earlier than quoted. When I've previously worked at Royal Mail I've seen shoe boxes come in, in just the shoe box, and they can get all crushed and everything, so I was a bit on edge, and weary about buying these shoes online. However they were £60.00 in store and I got them for £30.58 so I thought I'd risk it, they came packaged in a Vans shoe box, in another bigger box which was good. I love Vans as a shoe, they are amazing and these do not disappoint. Amazing fit, amazing quality.Would recommend these to anyone who is looking for great shoes at a great price.

Really pleased with this purchase, I'm always a little cautious when buying shoes or clothing online, simply because the amount of fakes floating around and being sold online is insane .Thankfully these are not, incredibly comfortable and fit perfectly.A must buy if you are considering them

Unfortunately had to return these as it felt a bit too big for me. I have other Vans in size three which are fine but they are lace ups. These felt very broad around the toe and the trim around the opening of the shoe was very hard, so potentially uncomfortable.

Comfortable design great appearance.

This is a Christmas gift for my granddaughter.

I’ve been wanting a pair of these for SO long, but they’re always sold out. I was skeptical about ordering off Amazon, but they’re at least $10 cheaper here than any other store/site I’ve looked at. I got them yesterday and they’re perfect. No defects, authentic, and fit perfectly (Vans sizes can be iffy, I recommend, before you buy, trying on an actual Vans shoe in a store and determining your size that way.)
