I usually don’t write reviews. For this I was inclined to leave one. I have thick hair short hair, usually takes what seems forever to dry my hair. This blow dryer dried my hair in leas than 5 minutes. Noise level was much better than my drybar and it seems much lighter

It's good..

This is the worst hairdryer I’ve ever used (yes, I’m including the weird hotel hairdryers). It’s way, way too hot, even on the lowest setting. It burns your scalp so that can’t be good for my hair. It’s too heavy, especially for how you have to hold it. The air intake is in the handle so, unless you have teenie, tiny, presidential hands, your hands are covering the air intake partially. Overall, awkward and painful to use. Back to the drawing board Dyson because this is a fail.

Not sure that it is legitimate or new. The box had been opened before arrival, as the sticker seals were not intact. Seems to work fine, but worried it will break quickly.

Filter was filthy. Obviously VERY used. Heating element did not work and item was scratched and cracked.

UPDATE 7/25. I kept the dryer in my closet instead of throwing it out. Picked it up to see if it would work two months later and it does! I guess I have to see how long this will lastAlthough I didn’t buy this from Amazon, I did buy it direct from Dyson. I was hoping I’d get lucky and the machine would last more than two years for the price. Many reviews have mentioned the dryer suddenly stops working and repairs are expensive. Mine just died at 2 years 4 months. Waste of money.However, I loved it. That’s why I gave two stars. For the money you’d think it would last at least 10 years. I even bought the newer version to use in another house. I’m hoping it lasts, but my hopes aren’t high.
