This encoder is quite impressive! This is the right one
TLDR;Encoder is easy to use, feature packed, reliable, well built and customer service is extremely helpful! I wouldn’t buy an encoder from any other brand going forward.Full review;I had purchased an HDMI encoder from another brand that was advertised to work with VLC. Spoiler alert it didn’t work with VLC player well at all! This uRay encoder is high quality and just works, very simple to use, it streams reliably and has every setting I could think of.Customer service is very responsive to questions and request for assistance. I was curious about the API this device uses and they were able to help me formulate an API call to change the setting I was looking to change. Most other AV companies don’t provide such a high-level of customer service and it’s so great that they provide awesome customer service like this. One thing to be aware of; so far I have only been able to get L-PCM 2 channel stereo audio working with the HDMI encoder. I’ll probably have to down-mix my Dolby 5.1 bitstream audio to 2 channel stereo, not a dealbreaker and I’m not taking off any stars for this since it’s easily fixable on my end and I have not even asked customer support about it yet. I’m sure they would go above and beyond to help anyway they can!All around a great product, great company and good people!

Reliable, high quality video encoders.
I've been using these URayCoder encoders for years. I have three of them now. They're amazing. They're extremely reliable and the video quality is excellent. Mine are running 24/7 and they never have to be restarted or anything, they just keep working. Excellent product, excellent value.

Crystal clear HDMI over the internet
I have two (1080) that I use to replace my old Sony Location Free, which let me watch my cable boxes from anywhere, on a PC. I'm able to stream the HDMI output to any device, anywhere there is internet, using the VLC player on a Streaming stick, PC or phone.. Other players probably work as well, but I'm used to VLC so i stick with it.I also use it to send TV to other televisions in my home over Wifi using VLC on Android streaming sticks, like the ONN, or Firestick. No running HDMI cables. You can send out multiple streams at the same time so if your internet is not that fast, you can connect, using a different address, at a lower bit-rate and still get a very decent picture.I use an inexpensive app on my phone to an IR sender, over the internet, to control the cable boxes. (You can find those on Amazon also). Haven't had any issues with the two URay devices that I have, solid as a rock.If I have any complaint, it's that all of the LEDs on the front are the same color, blue. This for power, LAN and video. If they made them each different colors, then from a distance you could tell what is not connected, the LAN or Video.

Low resolution is fine
Works as documented but found it struggles with 1920x1080p full frame rate source. Was necessary to drop to much lower quality and lower frame rate.

Reliable and easy to use
I've ordered 4 of these so far over two and a half years and they've all worked great. Each one has been used to stream a DVR from one site to another so there's always a full set of cameras visible on a wall-mounted tv. There's no need to keep VMS software running somewhere pulling streams from each individual camera so it's much easier and uses way less bandwidth. I've also only ever needed to program them once, so it keeps people from needing to figure out how to access the cameras on their own or ask me, they just keep going so long as there's power and internet. I use them with the URayCoder decoders which are also easy to set up and reliably run the streams at 1080p and 30fps so they look as good as it does on the screens at the source.

IPTV Converter for Community TV Channel
This IPTV encoder was perfect for our project to create a TV channel for our TV provider to include in our channel line-up. This encoder has many easy-to-find settings, which we adjusted to the specifications required by our TV provider. The encoder has been working flawlessly for over 3 months now. Despite power outages here in Florida, the encoder comes right back on when power is restored. This encoder meets our needs.
