Informative and valuable guide to making money on Airbnb the right way
I have been curious about hosting and making some decent side income through Airbnb for a while now and Sally Miller's book is a fantastic help. Actually, I found her book far easier and more helpful than navigating the Airbnb site itself to find out what I needed to know. This book was concise and easy to read. It has also put my mind at ease, now that I have a sound knowledge of all the ins and outs of being a host.A nice surprise are the free bonuses that Sally has put together to go with this book; a downloadable workbook, message templates, household information document and pre-booking checklist. The free workbook summarizes all the action steps to take and be quickly on your way to earning money through Airbnb. The key parts of the book I found most valuable were:- Identifying your ideal guests (and later she shows you how to attract/market to them)- How to successfully charge more than your competition (she shows you her 5-step pricing strategy)- Creating an irresistible listing- What to do before, during and after your guests' visit (plus the special touches that will help you get good reviews)- How to troubleshoot if you're not getting enough bookings- Legal and financial considerations to take care ofReading Sally's book is like having a personal coach to guide you through all the steps to successfully make money through Airbnb.

Well Written and Informative Guide Teaching You How to Be A Successful Airbnb Host
Before reading this book, I had never heard of Airbnb. Sally Miller shows how easy it can be to earn a substantial amount of extra money renting out a portion or all of your home. The book is well written explaining all the steps you need to follow to make your guests feel at home and have a positive, comfortable experience. She discusses her own experience in this business. She guides you through all the issues you will face and probably fear and alleviates those burdens. She guides you through everything you need to do, from finding the ideal guest and how to provide them all the information and amenities you should provide this guest. She shows you how to deal with probably the biggest fear you will have, security. If you have the extra room or travel frequently, this sideline income is definitely something you could consider. If I lived in a town people actually wanted to visit and had a bigger, or extra place, I would strongly consider doing this. If I had the room, my town would actually be an ideal place to offer this service as we have no lodging available. Once set up, the process is shown to be easy and rewarding. I recommend this delightful and informative book to anyone looking to make a nice income on the side for whatever needs you may have. The extra income can be quite lucrative.

Step-by-step details to become a Successful Airbnb Host
This author has done a solid job of organizing a great deal of information into a comprehensive easy-to-read guide. After reading it cover to cover, I appreciate the step-by-step details, insider tips, and real-life examples. We're learning from someone who has actually earned $2500 a month as an Airbnb host (not someone who just researched the topic).I'm always looking at side income books, yet most are way to general. This book is filled with the details necessary to go from idea to getting paid. She shares how to define your ideal guests, setup your listing, decide what to charge (she has a process), communicating with guests (before, during, and after), preparing for the visit, solving any problems (hint: have a team), how to get paid (plus expected expenses), "reclaiming your home" after guests have left, and especially, how to get repeat business, referrals and high ratings.I especially like that she shares how to handle the tougher subjects, too, like security issues, how to protect your valuables and privacy, defining house rules, as well as when, why, and how to decline a guest pleasantly and professionally. To guide you through the Airbnb process, as a bonus, the author included a Make Money on Airbnb Workbook plus a hosting checklist, and must-have templates you can customize to fit your situation. This is a book I will recommend to any of my friends and family who are interested in becoming Airbnb Hosts.

But I often thought this little house could be a great way to bring in extra income especially as we ...
Sally Miller's book Make Money on AIRBNB immediately grabbed my attention. We happen to have a guest house located near our main house on a scenic property. My original intention was for it to be guest house, now our adult children live in it. But I often thought this little house could be a great way to bring in extra income especially as we head into a fixed income retirement phase. The idea seemed great, but slightly intimidating. Sally's book gives me the confidence to know that I could easily pull it off. She covers everything you need to know from knowing what type of renter market you want, preparing your home, how to price your home and charge more than the competition, learn how to list and manage the bookings to managing legal and financial aspects. She talks about her own experience of making $25,000 in her first year. The author had tried many other ways to make extra money all of which were time consuming and brought in minimal income. Renting her house out was the perfect answer, and it sounds like the perfect answer for us to make extra income with an asset ready to be used. I'm so pleased to have this book as my reliable reference. Also, it's a good book to have on hand even if you don't have immediate plans. You never know what the future holds.

An easy read guide with straightforward instructions and helpful advices
I used to think Airbnb is very complicated to do. It involves tons of paper work and lots of time to communicate back and forward without people interested in renting my place. But by reading Sally Miller's book, Airbnb looks like a very attractive way to earn a side income. Her step-by-step instructions show us exactly what we should do to earn money with our houses. She even shows us how to charge more than our competitions !!Other than all the helpful information in this book, one thing I like the most is: Sally mentions that Airbnb may not be legal worldwide and we should check our local laws before we consider pursuing our Airbnb business. She not only shows us how to earn passive income via Airbnb, she also makes sure we don't run into troubles with the laws. I applause her for her kind consideration.A bill that would make AirBnB legal in Ontario, Canada has passed second reading in the legislature. I'll stay tuned for its development and see if this will be another great opportunity for Canadians to earn more passive income.Make Money On Airbnb's author Sally Miller is planning to write more how-to books on earning passive income. I'm looking forward to reading more of her easy read guides and joining her "Paid To Stay Home community".

Great book outlining how simple it is to do this
Great book outlining how simple it is to do this....and putting to bed the scaremongering that goes on in society when something goes wrong. As the author points out, millions of people all over the world have used AirBNB and there have only been a handful of serious complaints. It is very important to understand this as all we hear about AirBNB in the media is when something goes wrongIt would be great to include, in detail, the processes involved in renting out a room or two in your home while you're living there. This book almost entirely focuses on renting out your entire family home....and touches on renting out a house remotely, but doesn't really get into the single room scenario.Otherwise highly recommended if you're considering doing this sort of thing. I really enjoyed this book

Find your way for airbnb
As a person who loves to travel it was so refreshing to read Make money on Airbnb: How to quickly and easily earn $2,500 a month from your home. I was skeptical about this as not everyone has an amazing mansion that will bring in a huge amount of earnings, however Sally Miller gives tips as to how to beat the competition and what you can do in order to be able to consistently charge more for your property. Not in a position to do this right now I will absolutely consider this in the future and come back to this book when I do. There are so many options that there is an option for everyone. This is exciting. I will begin to check out airbnb when considering travelling as this can also save money. I am so glad I came across this gem of a book. I highly recommend.

What a fantastic and practical idea this is
What a fantastic and practical idea this is. As someone who rents out to holiday makers I can relate to much of what the author says here but she covers stuff I hadn't even thought of. A must read to anyone with a spare room.
