For just being a strap with a hook, I am impressed with this. I ordered it to be a replacement for my old boat winch.... but now that I see how nice the strap is, I wish I wouod have just bought the whole boat winch from Rhino. This thing is tough, the stitching all has double lock stitches, which will keep the thread from coming undone. The hook is sturdy, but not too big where it doesnt fit the loop easily. Its coated nice and I think it will last a long time. The little locker mechanism seems sturdy. Its heavier than my last strap... not a bad thing at all. Overall, it's a great value for what you get!

Quick and easy replacement for my jet ski trailer. 20’ was probably a little much for the winch as it maxed it out in space but I’m sure it will settle as it gets more use. Looks like good quality so far. Next is to see how long it holds up to the Florida sun and salt water.

I bought the heavy duty version, like it says, heavy duty, beleive them, it is. This is probably more than I needed, but, I will never need to replace it. It's very well made, not crap from you know where, this one is American made.

Very happy with this winch strap. Was a direct replacement for my old strap that broke after 25 years of being exposed to the weather and sun. The quality of the strap and hook seem better than the old one. Looks nice on the trailer as well.

This Rhino winch strap seems very well made with a very strong hook. After taking my old one off, I noticed the bolt that holds the strap in place is bent and needs to be replaced. However a replacement bolt wasn't included in the box. I'm an hour away from a hardware store, so needless to say, this simple job quickly got complicated and frustrating. Upon arriving, I discovered they didn't have the 3 1/4" (grade 5) 3/8" bolt I need, and the 2nd hardware store I visited turned out to be closed (it's Sunday). I see most of the replacement straps on Amazon include a replacement bolt. I'm baffled and disappointed (to put it lightly) that one isn't included here, especially given the apparent overall quality of this strap but with a higher price than most. I realize it's partly my own fault for not noticing the listing didn't include the bolt, and most others do, but I'm not a happy camper! If this $1.25 bolt and lock-nut had been included, or at the very least a note in the listing that one isn't included, it would have saved me a lot of time, frustration and gas.

Excellent quality US product from a family company. Came with a stow bag, velcro binding strap and decals! This will last on my boat trailer for probably decades. Nice forged hook with a safety and great stitching. A little more expensive than the Chinese-made counterparts, but WELL worth it.

I got this to replace the winch cable on the ATV when its used for plowing snow. I Looked at the other strap type ATV plow replacement straps with the section of synthetic rope attached. Reviews are not so great on them. I have used boat winch straps in the past and they work quite well. Yes, I did have one finally tear at the hook, but a quick retie and good to go. Try that with wire rope. I also switched to synthetic with a hawse fairlead. That held up for a while but also broke near the hook. While I could not fit all 20' of strap on the winch, I was able to get about 15' or so on. Not having 50' of winch cable isn't too much of a concern for me as I carry an additional recovery strap anyway. I chose the Rhino strap over the other cheaper brands based on previous purchases from Rhino, always of great quality.
