Best mount i’ve used. Ultra sturdy. Great quality
Ok so i never ever write reviews but i had to do it for this product because it’s genuinely amazing, and one of the best mount arms i’ve ever used. Build quality is amazing. Great quality. I’ve now bought 6 of these and everything is mounted using these. It’s holding up a DSLR, a sizeable studio light with a giant 90cm softbox. 15.5” LED panels, plus a few other things with ease! The joints have great actuation but they lock completely into place at certain intervals. Each segment can be rotated too so i’ve been able to find a great position for every item i’ve needed to mount. Great product. Highly highly recommend. And with the 10% voucher it’s great value for money too.

Absolutely outstanding
What a great experience it is receiving and opening this mount system. It feels like quality the moment you get it, with a very sturdy and classy black card box and over-sleeve. Inside, in dense foam cutouts, is a well-printed full-colour instruction card plus the magic arm itself. Everything you need to start using the arm right out of the box is supplied, as well as three adapters, including a telescopic foot in the ball head. This is when you really begin to realize the quality of construction, as you take the pieces out. Everything is powder-coated metal--mostly aluminum for lightness, with a few steel and alloy parts. All of the arms are wide diameters, giving them the stability to hold greater weight, and all of the screw-locks are smooth to operate, with good-sized keys to make tightening a breeze. The 1/4" ball socket is impressively smooth and all-metal, with a good grip-plate, and can be connected up to the 3/8, 5/8 or baby pin connectors, serving pretty much anything you need to get on there. The double-locking C-clamp on the base means that the arm doesn't have a single pivot point, so won't rotate or loosen as you move the upper arm around. That's a really nice feature, as single-screw clamps tend to loosen with use because they transfer all the torque back to a single rotation point, which slowly unscrews. The amount of weight it can take without vibration is very impressive, and rather than simply state its maximum value, the manufacturers have taken the time to state the value in different configurations, as obviously the farther the tip of the arm is from the central point of balance, the more stress you're placing on the entire structure. But this is sturdy, make no mistake. This is impressively stable. The joints give a good degree of flexibility, but to take the necessary weight they have a toothed system which requires you to lock each in place as you set its position--a little bit fiddly, but I can see that it was the bast way to provide stability for heavy weight. The rotation at each joint increases the flexibility across another plane, and the rubber-covered tightening collars are comfortable to use. Changing the position therefore takes time, but this what gives the arm its solidity in use. Overall I'd say the build quality of this arm really is excellent. It feels sturdy and capable, and the wide range of mounts included means that it genuinely offers a lot of versatility. This is an all-rounder that feels up to the task, for the professional or the enthusiast. I'm going to give this a very big recommendation, as it's clear that the manufacturers were really trying here, and in doing so they've achieved something outstanding.

will not sag under weight
This magic arm is a must for desktop imaging. This is by far the best arm I have found. It is sturdy, and strong enough to hold any camera or projector. Unlike other arms, it doesn't sag of fold under weight, but holds firm at multiple angles. The only negative is that the bracket ( which is very strong and sturdy) does not come apart without using tools , which are provided. Therefore you need to untighten screws and tightening knobs if you want to put it away in a very nice box. all in all i'd recommend this 100% . It's pricier than the competitors, but it will do the job.

Excellent quality camera arm mount
This camera mount/arm impresses from the start as it comes very well packaged and presented in a smart box with everything nicely laid out. A single piece of card within the box provides the instructions. Some assembly is required, as the entending/jointed arm needs both the clamp and the camera mount attached to it. It's a bit fiddly to set up the clamp end as it uses four hex bolts (provided) to fix the two parts together. In the box there's a small screwdriver and allen key for this, which is a nice touch. Even on its widest setting, the clamp didn't quite fit on the table I wanted to fix it to. In the end I had to pull out one of the drawers to make it work. You have to fully push the clamp onto the table or worksurface, else the arm is just too unstable to use. Once attached, using the arm is pretty simple, with rings on the tubing to allow you to extend and rotate the pieces. To change the angles, you undo the wingnuts to loosen the joints and then retighten again when in the right position. My only real issue was with the end you attach your camera (or light), as it felt a little unfinished compared with the rest. The ball-joint works well enough, although getting the camera attached securely was a bit tricky. Maybe some additional guidance in the instructions would have been helpful here. Some sort of quick release mechanism would have been great, but this would have increased the cost. Overall this is a really well made and nicely presented bit of kit that is useful without breaking the bank.

Well-made, adjustable and solid
This is easily the best quality desktop arm I have ever owned. I have tried the springy ones which look like an angle poise lamp. I have tried the flexible “gooseneck” ones. I have tried ones which sit on a flat base and ones with a clamp. All of them have had some sort of wobble and several have felt as if they would fall off, fall over, or drift out of position at any moment. This desktop arm feels as solid and well-made as my camera tripod and stays more steady than my computer monitor when I am bashing away at my keyboard, even with a relatively heavy camera attached. Once you get the hang of what can be rotated or extended it is very flexible and can be positioned however you like. Conveniently, the set also includes a ball-and-socket adapter for easy levelling of whatever you attach to the end and a couple of extra adapters for different screw fittings. The clamp is very sturdy and fits my half-inch desktop comfortably, but I can see that it is adjustable to suit desktops much thicker. All in all a great product, and I am already thinking about getting another one.

Good, but takes time to adjust
This is a solid arm, but it’s not quite “magic” and doesn’t live up to many of the other reviews I’ve read. It’s not a bad product, but it’s difficult to use for top down filming. It takes a good bit of adjusting every time to get it where I want it. And you have to undo all of the joints and pivot points in order to do so. I was hoping it was going to be a lot easier to adjust. If you want an arm that stays in one position, this is a solid choice. If you need to move it a lot, it’s a real pain to keep repositioning.

Nice boom arm with standard camera fitting.
This arm turned out to be perfect for photographing items for sale or review. It comes in a lovely presentation case, too, all well-packed, and has good quality metal tubing and connectors. I was able to attach it to a bookshelf, but no reason you couldn't attach to a desk or worktop, or any other substantial base that it can be screwed onto. It articulates well once you have it in place, and had learned what the various knobs and adjusters are for. It took quite a lot of leverage and greatly stabilised the shot and I was able to fix my camera at pretty much any orientation/angle I desired. Because of the flexibility in orientation and the length of the bars, it would be possible to over-lever or to put too much pressure on some of the fittings if you were rough with it, especially if you knocked it, but that's not an inherent fault, just a fact of life when yo have a long metal bar and some plastic fittings. Fitted the standard camera mounting, and it can be tricky to take the camera on and off - I would recommend a separate shoe because otherwise you're going to be spinning your expensive camera around to remove it. I marked it down slightly for this as once attached, whatever you've attached can be difficult to remove. Good for the price, great quality otherwise, and a permanent addition to my little item-photographing setup.
