Nostalgia update. Lots of new detail and fun and challenging to play.

Although the traffics aren’t spectacular the game is fun to play with lots of choices and a plus is learning history. Appropriate for all ages!

My kids played The Oregon Trail in school, but I never played it until now. I absolutely love this game. It's challenging - my kids were not kidding about the dysentery. Anyway, it's challenging and has a number of side quest style mini games to help figure out how to best handle the much longer trek, and they allow you to unlock more types of characters. Educational as well as entertaining. I recommend this game. Enjoy!

The media could not be loaded. Fun game, is kind of short easy to beat. It brings back the nostalgia from the original. It's a fun game but it was shorter than I was thinking had other elements to it. It was a decent price. It came with the disk, some cards that show the old version vs the new, and some download codes

I got this for myself because it reminded me of computer class when I was a kid (waaaayyy back in the 1900s) but the whole family loves to play. Graphics are improved from the initial version, but still had a nostalgic feel.There are a few parts that I wish would change occasionally (for example, the murder mystery part—would be nice to get different scenarios if you play multiple times) but def not a deal breaker.

This hits just as good as the classic game from the early 90s

This game is super nostalgic for my husband and myself! I had to pry myself away from it after playing it every night after work for hours!It's just like the original game, but with better graphics and added upgrades! For your party, you add 4 people. You can use the names given to them or edit to your liking. For each person, they have different personalities so choose wisely. You can buy a wagon kit or customize your own for the amount of money you start out with. There are many stops and options along the way to each fort. You can hunt and fish (my favorite)! There are challenges and quests along your journey. It's definitely a memory/thinking game. The further you go, the harder it gets! I absolutely love this game and can't wait for the colder months when we're inside all the time so my family and I can play more! Definitely worth it and a must buy!!!
