Undercoat Grooming Rake with Anti-Slip Wooden Handle, Steel Comb for Medium & Large Pets

This thing works great; previously owned one like this but plastic handle which broke. Metal and wood feels very well made.

This rake works way better than I ever could have expected. I needed something extra large and deep for my very thick-coated rough collie whose fur is longer than my own hair. It gets deep enough into his fur that I can finally see his skin, and he for once doesn’t hate it when I’m brushing him. I’ve gotten so much fur out and he seems much more comfortable than with the undercoat curved rake. I love it!

I have a wolf hybrid with super thick fur and this thing works amazing. Easy to clean and gets down into her undercoat really well.

Wow! I learned from watching a groomer how to actually brush my German Shepherd so I got this rake and the slicker brush from this company and it has made a huge difference! While he is eating I brush his coat against the direction it grows, then brush him with the slicker brush, then spray him with a moisturizing spray I made and use the glove brush to work it in (plus he enjoys it and that is his favorite part). Ever since I got these brushes I have been brushing my dog every single day for nearly a month and it takes less than 5 minutes with this method. The shedding is so minimal I don't even need my Roomba anymore!

Best undercoat brush for an Australian Shepherd I've ever had I would recommend to any Australian shepherds or German Shepherds or any dogs that have two coats

……Our pets are priceless, and so is the Ordermore comb!Longhaired double coated dogs do well in colder climates thanks to their two fabulous coats.They have a guard coat, which is the outside shiny fur. This coat needs to be brushed often to remove the loose fur, and keep it shiny, because the brushing distributes the natural oils through a husky's coat.But, ahhhh, the undercoat.The beauty in the undercoat is that it is the main reason that the Husky is cooler in the summer, and warmer in the winter. (remember the undercoat keeps ldoublecoated dogs cool in summer!)I asked someone very wise what comb I should buy for Annie.She worked with me in an Assisted Living facility, and she needs to look her best!There are so many different types of combs, brushes, and so on, and after having huskies all these years I have NEVER been successful in grooming!She not only told me to “Ordermore,” she sent me the link!I wish I had asked her before this! There are even instructions for those of us who are CLUELESS!Valid points:It does say "do not use for other purposes except grooming dogs & cats," which I know makes sense.It says to avoid using it if there is something wrong with their skin, also a good point.Lastly, it says keep out of reach of children…great idea!The characteristic of the brush is the awesome classy natural wood handle, (this is really lovely!)It also gives you directions on how to use it, how to hold it, and how to be successful with it.They say to not use it with hot water, diluent, or alcohol, to protect it from deforming or discoloring, as well as to keep it in a cool and dry place, and avoid direct sunlight.I am much more successful combing her hair with this comb then any others I have tried, and I have tried them ALL it seems! The very expensive one that comes in many colors, I found USELESS. Not as great as this comb.This one easily combs the hair, and removes the undercoat with NO TUGGING! How awesome is that?One warning, don't leave it where a puppy can get it, because they love to chew wooden objects.If you do you will lose your wonderful ordermore comb!Did I mention that this is my second Ordermore Long Tooth Comb?

It works really well to get down through the hair -and remove excessive fur when your dog is shedding. However, I have two lg breeds with very thick hair this tool is not meant for short haired pups. I read some of the reviews that it isn’t made well . I’m a hairstylist by trade and I think it is sturdy; and it has a very good handle to hold the brush and it’s made well. Ofcourse, if you abuse it and drop it, yes it could bend or break. It’s much better than a comb because of the wood handle it’s easier to use and get a grip. . Very pleased with this product and my pups love when I groom them with it !

Love this thing! All I really need for my chocolate lab and his shedding! He gets really bad especially after a hard winter. This takes it right off.
