Hard to find a waste bin in this size. Very hard. This small bin actually fitted into a small place between a bed and a bedside table.Bin works fine but it is quite clear that the latching mechanism could fail over time. Happily, the seller includes a replacement latch mechanism with your purchase. Unhappily, I lost my replacement mechanism very quickly. Be sure to just keep the replacement mechanism taped to the inside of your bin, so you will be sure to have it if you need it. But the bin opens and closes fine now.Finally, the bin comes in one color: white. That wouldn't work in the small bedroom where bin was placed. I painted my bin with 1) spray primer 2) black spray paint, several counts and 3) a gloss spray after the primer and paint had cured for a week. The bin now looks perfectly where it is.

We needed a nice small trash can for the bathroom in our camper, this one has been perfect for the small space we have. It fits perfectly, i really like the lid that is on it. The spring loaded lid makes it easy to open, just push down and it pops open. Very easy to clean and replace the bag.

Update: company responded again and offered to ship me a new unit at no cost. I'm still curious why they aren't able to mail me a couple of the black replacement clasps but I give them credit for making an effort to satisfy our request. I'm bumping my 2 star to a 4 star for effort.Initially we were happy with the product. It is compact and functions well, however, there is a small black clasp the grips the top to keep it closed. The part is easily displaced and subject to accidental disposal. I contacted the Joybos company directly for part replacement and they refused to provide replacement of the part. If the part fails the function of the cover is useless and would require full replacement of the entire trash receptacle. I was willing to pay for the replacement part but was denied.

Perfect I love them… just the fact that my trash is not visible is great. Perfect size!

First off, props for putting a foam cover on top of the product so it doesn't get scratched when opening the box with a box cutter. Second, I read that the lid broke for some people, but it came with an extra piece in case it broke so very well prepared. Over all, the look is sleek and the matte touch is nice. The one push lid is easy to operate and so far, I've had no problems with it.

The lid works well, it's easy to empty, and the design is clean and minimal. If you need something that gets the job done without being in the way, this is it.It’s not fun, flashy, or particularly thrilling. No one’s ever said, “Wow, what a fun trash can!” And that’s okay. Because this little guy knows its job, and it does it well.
