CAMELBAK Eddy+ Vss 1L Bottle, Purple Sky

Big water bottle that keeps its content cold for ages. It never leaks and it last for ever!

Bought this for my 3 year old and it’s took a beating, still keeps his drinks cold all day, been through the dishwasher countless times with no signs of degrading and it’s big enough to keep him going for a long time while being small enough to fit in the bottle pouch on the side of a bag or changing bag. Just remember to bite down on the valve a little to drink. Which also helps it to seal even if they forget to close it.

This water bottle is GREAT. I've never had one before – I have avoided them. This one feels strong, a quality piece with a robust build, it's also a cute color. I really like it.

Study, yet stylish. Large capacity and keeps the drink cold. Like that it has a straw so easy to access. Doesn’t appear to leak.

This has become my favourite water bottle by far. It’s solid, well built and the Eddy+ bite valve is easy to use, I have both with the Eddy+ design and the Mag Chute and both have their uses. I’ve got quite a few bottles at this point but this one stands out, I even did a fair bit of research before buying and it outperformed most of the competition, apart from maybe Yeti (though that one’s a lot bulkier). I’ve taken this on holiday and left it out in the sun to the point that the outside was too hot to touch, but the water inside was still ice cold. The wide mouth makes it easy to clean or put ice in when needed, and there's no odd taste from the plastic lid either. It’s properly leakproof and durable, and I’ve recommended it to a few people already. Unfortunately, CamelBak seem to have changed the design recently and the newer version doesn’t perform quite as well. Real shame, as the original was spot on. If you can still find this older version, it’s an easy recommendation.

I recently saw this bottle being reviewed on a TV programme and it was rated highly, so I decided to invest in one. I couldn't be happier with it! It doesn't leak, it keeps water cold and is easy to use. I have several other water bottles but they all leak, so I'm going to get rid of the lot! Highly recommend and cheaper on Amazon than buying direct.

I didn't like the fact that you need to chew to get the water going. Sometimes it sprays water all over the space. Also, the chewing part got loose in a month.

Pros: Big, good capacity Leakproof Hasn't dented yet in my bag Water is kept super cold Nice strong handle to carry with Cons: Straw hinge feels flimsy, might get flicked up in my bag Bite straw is super stiff, almost painful to drink from at first but might soften with washes/use etc Not sure if it's worth the price unless it's on offer, but it's cheaper than many of the other 1L stainless steel bottles I've seen 👍
