Body-Tec Adjustable neoprene Wrist support for arthritis and RSI syndrome NHS use

The media could not be loaded. I don’t use this all the time, but when I do need it it works wonders. It gives my hand and wrist good support. It’s easy to put on and take off. The Velcro strap works really well and doesn’t come off when doing things around the house our outdoors.Good value for money as it is very durable and has good comfort supporting my hand and wrist.Overall good pain relief from my wrist when wearing it.

Close, but no cigar!Sadly I have really sensitive skin - and this wrist support prickled me & and irritated my skin .. .. .. .. .. .. H O W E V E R .. .. .. .. .. .. .. I have found that cutting a thumb hole in the heel of a 100% COTTON sock and wearing it underneath the wrist support. This makes the wrist support very comfortable and easy to wear!! Additionally using the socks underneath the wrist support means that only the socks get smelly (and they are easier to launder!!) - not the support itself!(+) Item washes really well(+) Is a very rigid wrist support(+) Is great value for money when compared to the local pharmacies!(+) Launder's well - obviously remove the metal bar / support first!(-) it's not really a minus - but this support is not very kind to sensitive skin - although it does soften with washing & is really comfy with the sock trick!

I bought this as I had symptoms for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (excruciating wrist pain in mornings, tingling sensations in smaller two fingers etc) and needed support to help my wrist heal.This is a great little support overall, but there are a few things to consider before buying. The negative elements are, this support is not breathable, so when worn for the full duration of the night / long durations infront of the computer you may want to invest in another support/ another breathable type of support. As this DOES leave your palm feeling clammy and sweaty.I have not had this support for very long (just under two weeks) and the appearance of it is, well.. abit worn, and the felt areas have already bubbled up. But of course considering I wear it contentiously, this is expected, however this doesn't look very great if your having to wear it out and about, so again, I'd suggest getting another one to alternate between the two.

Strained my wrist and bought this to help heal my wrist. It's perfect. My wrist is 17cm so the medium fits perfectly. It is comfortable and keeps my wrist from moving. Would definitely recommend this for wrist support 😁👍

This is an adequate wrist protector but found it didn't give great support to my wrist.

A very firm, but comfortable support for those who have sprained their wrist. VELCRO straps make it easy for the person to place on the wrist themselves (unaided). These wrist supports are sold singly ( LEFT & RIGHT HAND) and in three sizes. When ordering make sure that you place your order for the correct hand , unless buying the two - LEFT & RIGHT HAND, also pay attention to the WRIST SIZE before you 'click on ' and order. I have purchased both LEFT & RIGHT in the event that I will at some future point need them for supporting a sprained wrist.However, I make use of them for other purposes such as when using the keyboard of my computer with my wrist resting practically in the same place at the forefront of the computer. The wrist support helps to take the strain off my wrist, especially if I am doing excessive typing.I find them to be a good investment for anyone to add to their 'FIRST AID' kit, in readiness should they ever be needed (sprained wrist ). Also for those who do a lot of typing, then I recommend these wrist supports. They are finger free, and do not impede your ability to type. They are money well worth spent.

Very good product - much more comfortable for everyday use than my old one (which wasn't neoprene and had a much harsher angle on the metal splint bit). I work in an office environment and the harsher angle did impede typing. Any sort of wrist splint will do that, but this one is easier to deal with. Quality seems excellent (although I have only been using this a few days, so cannot attest to its durability). Well-priced, so if it doesn't suit you, you've not lost a great deal of money. Agree with other reviewers - if you are borderline on the size, go for the smaller one. I have fairly broad wrists for a small woman (I'm 5'4" and a size 10, to give you some context), but the small is plenty big enough. If you are really teeny, then this may not be for you though, as the small may not be small enough to suit your needs.

I have weak wrists and often sprain one or the other, so bought a pair of these to go in our medicine chest so that I could strap them up at the first twinge of pain. They appear lighter than some I've used from the hospital, but they are just as serviceable. I have worn these overnight to try the feel of them and when using the computer, and they are really good value. The elasticity is good, padding is quite thick and comfortable, with strong hook and loop fastening.Please be aware, though, the metal bar inside is NOT REMOVABLE for when you want to wash the straps. I have deducted one star for this, as sometimes I find just the strapping would be good enough on my wrist, depending on the severity of injury of course, without the bar inside. Although you could undo a bit of the stitching by the thumb if you really wanted to remove it at any time.
