Sizing a bit off
I am new to karate and have no experience to compare this to anything else, but it seams to be very well made and very sturdy. I'm kind of wishing I had ordered a light weight version now, as this one is kind of heavier than I had anticipated, but again I have no frame of reference; it is just pretty sturdy/thick. As for length, I am 6'5", 200lbs, and evenly proportioned; and the size 7 was WAY too long for me (by atleast 6-8"). The size chart recommended size-7 for 6'0"-6'5" (the smallest option for 6'5"). I don't know if they expect it to shrink a ton when washed, but I thought that was just way too long, so I reordered the size-6 and it appears to fit just perfect out of the box (not sure what will happen after washing). Out of the box I just barely step on the edge of the pant legs, so it can still afford to shrink a bit and continue to fit well. All in all I am happy with the purchase. I will try to update review if it ends up shrinking a lot.

Decent Quality medium weight Dogi
Sizing, am I right? Im a wide dude, with big shoulders and hips and a 44inch waist. Im not sure if the sizing chart was all that helpful. It seems to run a little smaller than some of my other "size 5" uniforms. The size 5 jacket is a little snug but serviceable, and the pants fit perfectly. I'll probably order a size 6 in the future, but this one is absolutely a wearable size. Ive killed many heavyweight Gis through heavy use. The medium weight seems to be a good compromise between light and heavy. I'll know in a few weeks or months how well it holds up to abuse.

Great quality but runs a bit larger than indicated.
I'm 6'2 200 lbs and bought a size or two lower and even after a few times through the washer and dryer it's still a bit bigger than I'd prefer. Good value for the money. I'd buy from this company again.

Probably really a starter uniform.
I’m 5’9.5” (32” inseam) and the pants drag on the floor. Would probably shrink up a bit if dried on warm. Jacket sleeves are fine, but I’ve been told I have ape arms, so might be a bit long if you’re a normal size large (I’m a large tall). I weigh about 205 on a good day, and the jacket is very snug around my middle. Cuffs and pants hems are not as layered as I’m used to for a “medium weight” gi like my other Mugens. I like the feedback of thicker hems and cuffs. Seems well made, but I’d consider this a beginner’s gi. But I’m not done with you yet. Gonna swap it out for one of the heavier weights.

5' 125lbs Size 3 fits nicely after a few washes
I bought this Gi in a size 3 for my 12 year old son. He is 5' & 125lbs. It was huge when it arrived so I was a little nervous but with past experience I know Gi's shrink after a few washes. I washed and dried it Twice and it fits nicely. The arms do not need to be rolled and the pants only need to be rolled once or twice. It's a very nice material, it seems durable and he likes the length of the top.

Great midwinter 100 percent cotton.
Coming off of the light weight century uniform, this change surprised me. Durability, all for the jacket ties, is fantastic. Like the heavy 100 percent Seichin traditional karate gi the paint tie around the hight of the hip. Great fill and holds body heat in very well which gives a better and quicker fat burning zone. Highly recomened for intermediate practitioners.

Better than Century
For a while my dojo and I have been problems with century martial arts. So I decided to try these and found out I was pleasantly surprised. Now there are no shureido GI but for everyday use they are great. Just alittle long for my short legs lol
