We were experiencing too much heat loss in our temporary greenhouse made from a chain link kennel with the exterior wrapped in heavy greenhouse plastic. Taking the idea from grow tents, we bought these emergency blankets to line the interior walls. The blankets are doing a great job of reflecting the heat (from lamps and heater) back into the greenhouse and keeping the plants warmer during the latest arctic event. We affixed them to the inside of the chain link panels with stainless steel plant clips we had on hand. This has been a cost effective solution to combat heat loss for our plants!

It doesn't look like they would be but these suckers are warm! Actually used them to wrap 60 pizza pies going to a wedding reception 20 minutes away. They protected the car interior and held the heat in really well. I guess they would be good for survival of a human as well.

Oh yeah. Keep one in every truck, every bag. I opened one up fully just to see, and it was exactly perfect. Description is very accurate. Will likely never need…but never say never. Well worth the price.

Good to have on hand in case of emergency. Very light weight and good number of blankets for the price. They make a little noise when it’s windy out but overall the durable material makes the cold wind bearable.

Stronger than expected. I wrapped the blanket around a wire rack that I have plants growing on to reflect the light from the grow lights. I have been especially impressed with how well it has held up regardless of how many times I have taken it off the rack and put it back on. Works great!

I bought the multi-pack so I could keep one in the glove compartment of my vehicles, my backpack when hiking, and in my carry-on bag when traveling. I had a very uncomfortable freezing cold long air flight where I was miserably cold for 9 hours. When I read that these blankets retain your body heat, I decided I will pack a couple when I travel. I wish I had them available to wrap myself in on that miserable flight. They are also nice to have when you go somewhere and the seats are wet, you need to sit on the ground, or in an emergency. For the price, they are handy to keep in 1st aid kits, cars, diaper bags, etc.
