Best fan I have in my house, worth every penny. High powered but fairly quiet and the vintage look looks great in my house.

Don’t often bother to review things, but after spending ages looking at cheap fans so glad I spent a bit more on this one. It’s really well made, easy to put together and extremely effective. All fans are noisy so not saying better or worse than any other, but this is a quality product.

A very decent fan.It replaces a 5-year-old one and it's noticeably faster, much more quiet and a pleasure to buy.Aesthetically it is pleasing, and the base is very solid metal.I would have given it 5 out of 5, however the installation instruction the next do non-existent.Nevertheless, anyone moderately competent and logical could put it together, in 5-10 mins.Unpack everything put the supporting arm into the base and secure put the main unit onto the arm and screw in.Carefully undo the two bolts on the main unit, fit the back plate cover and screw in, etc, etcNot hard at all.And I'm already cooler!

Amazing fan! I see why people might think it's a bit loud but at least it's in proportion to the airflow power! Keeps you cool for sure

Really solid fan with a heavy metal base that protects it from being toppled. Which is important, because I knocked our previous fan over whilst trying to move it, and it fell apart when it hit the ground. This one is far more stable: assembly was easy, though care still has to be exercised. It looks attractive with the wood effect stand and blades, and even on the lowest setting it pumps out an impressive indoor blast. Good range on the "air-spread" setting, too. It's quite noisy in the bedroom at night so we've purchased small bedside fans and will keep this one in the lounge.To sum up yes, its a lot more expensive than the cheap, rather flimsy models at the budget end of the market, but money well spent, I reckon because it should last. Disappointed to note, however, that whilst the words "Russell Hobbs--a British icon since 1952" are emblazoned proudly on the box, the fan was in fact made in China.

Good quality fan with a heavy base, easy to assemble. Powerful, low noise, oscillation has a wide arc which is covered at a reasonable speed.
