I needed an umbrella table for inside our pool. Our tanning ledge is deeper than most pools. This table is tall enough.We used a piece of PVC pipe (took the top with me to Lowe’s to insure fit and purchased a pre-cut 24” piece). I filled the bottom of the base with 1 50lb bag of concrete. Then inserted the PVC pipe with the one end sealed with a couple pieces of duct tape. I put the top on over night to make sure the pipe it stayed centered while the concrete dried. The next morning I took the cover off so it could dry in the sun. When dry, we installed the bladder bag and filled it with enough water to force the base to sink.I listed the metal umbrella base on the Facebook Marketplace and sold it for $25 since I wasn’t going to use it.It worked perfectly. It’s not heavy (while in the pool) so it can easily be moved around. I could cut the PVC shorter but I like it this length.A similar ledge lounger umbrella base/table would be almost $500.

Veradek has amazing products. They are so simple yet beautiful and functional. The design on these umbrella stand side tables is ingenious. We recently had a storm with 80 mph winds in Chattanooga and the umbrellas and tables didn't budge. The water balloon insert inside the table for weight and stabilization works like a dream. The style is modern, minimalist and sleek. Tables are large enough to set a drink and small plate on each side. If you didn't need the weight of the inflatable water inserts, these could look great as planters with an umbrella through them as well as the table top is removable. Highly recommend.

I haven’t had this long enough to see how it holds up to Texas sun, but so far so good. It is incredibly sturdy and has not budged in our spring storms. Also happy with customer service as I thought I was missing a piece but they walked me through where it was actually attached to another piece.

With this all in one I don't need an umbrella holder and separate table taking up outdoor space. It was easy to put together and the instructions that came with it were pretty good. It comes with a rubber like bladder to fill with water which holds the table securely in place. Just make sure to open the valve before trying to unfold the rubber bladder. I didn't know to do that but once I figured that out it was a breeze. My umbrella fits perfectly in the hole with one of the included collars. The table is plastic but practical for poolside. Looks really nice and seems to be of good quality. Very happy with my purchase.

Absolutely beautiful, perfect addition outside and looks like it will survive Florida heat very well. I keep checking to see if it’s on a deal of the day so I can buy a few more. You will be very happy with this purchase.

Love this freestanding umbrella stand. We now have one on the deck and one on the lower patio. They have held up thru two rainstorms already. They look good, functional as a table and we now have much needed shade.

Bought two of these to replace some umbrella stands and liked them so much that I got two more. It's very easy to put together. Good weight and tight hold of the umbrellas. Have seen it hold with some pretty good winds blowing. Nice table top surface.

Probably the best surprise of all my purchases on Amazon ... ever! That's saying a lot! So much better in person, very sturdy and much bigger than I anticipated! It's heavy enough that at this point I don't see myself adding more support on the inside for my 7ft umbrella. This ... made me smile! Don't hesitate if you're on the fence!
