Marine Biodegradable Descaler (4, Gallon Bottle)

This is a great product. I removed years of residue one the inside of my outboard.

Very effective at remove scale from the internals of the outbound cooling system.

Works awesome on flushing out my outboard engine. I mixed it 50-50 with water and ran it through my engine using a pump and I got rid of all the deposits inside the engine cooling system. It also worked great on cleaning my glass shower door to remove the water spots.

Worth the money. Do it if you love your boat and motor!

I used this on a 90 hp Yamaha 2 stroke and on my twin 200hp Yamahas and it works! Removed lots of deposits and helped resolve my overheating issues. I highly recommend this product to anyone having overheating or as a simple yearly maintenance to clean out the passages on their outboards. Follow instructions on label or view a few YouTube videos to get a better idea of how to use, I diluted mines 1 to 1 and it worked as advertised.

I tried muratic acid which didn't work and it had to be neutralized which took a lot of baking soda. Rydlyme took the deposits out of my outboard cooling system and now my overheating problem is a thing of the past. Several people marked it down because of high price which it is a little pricy but compared to the $2000.00 I paid to mechanics who couldn't fix the problem it's a bargain. I'll be using Rydlyme regularly from now on.

Product is great. I used it last year for my older Volvo Penta and it worked like a charm. But it is expensive, you pay a high shipping fee on top of that, and then receive it badly packaged. 4 full gallon jugs freely tumbling in a large box, which damaged one of the jugs and spilled the (by definition) foul smelling liquid. Not much was lost, but the box was soaked and I'm glad the package was left outdoors.

Descaled 2 diesel engines and the hvac raw water circulation system on our boat. Rydlyme removed huge amounts of scale and salt water build up. Engine raw water cooling passages are now free of obstruction and flow sea water more freely. Just as good as taking the equipment off the boat and taking it to be dipped and boiled without all that labor. We circulated Rydlyme through each system for 4 hours each. The flow rate of Rydlyme through each system was vastly better at the end of the 4 hours compared to the beginning.
