Best Bang for Your Buck – Fantastic Laptop Snagged for $399!
This laptop is an absolute steal. At the time of purchase it was priced at $399! (I see it has gone up in price since buying) It’s perfect for students or business professionals, offering great performance, a sleek design, and solid battery life without breaking the bank. The 16” display provides an immersive viewing experience, and the full-sized keyboard with NumPad makes working with numbers a breeze. The Intel Core i5-1235U processor with Iris Xe graphics ensures smooth performance for productivity, editing, and entertainment. With 16GB of RAM, multitasking is seamless, and the 512GB SSD offers plenty of storage for large files and applications.Battery life is solid, lasting up to 10 hours, so you won’t be constantly searching for an outlet. A huge plus is that it comes with the full version of Windows 11 Home—not the restrictive S mode! That means no limitations on app installations, giving you the freedom to use it just like a desktop. For the price, this laptop delivers outstanding value. If you need a fast, reliable, and budget-friendly machine, this is a fantastic choice!

Very good laptop!
I bought this laptop for my 10 year old daughter. She seems to love it, and she is getting used to typing and doing everything on the computer, which is essential knowledge these days. I got it on sale for $399+tax during the Prime Big Deal Days Event. Very good processor, and it's a better laptop than the one I use for myself! I've never purchased Asus before, and am happy with the purchase and would recommend this brand. Solid deal! This can do everything you need it to do, assuming you aren't using it as a hardcore gaming computer. The screen is also very nice. I don't often write Amazon reviews, but felt compelled to write this review. Have a good one!

Easy to use, missing Microsoft office.
Easy to setup and use. Met the needs of a home office\ internet business. Great screen size and not too heavy. We don’t’ like the lack of a Microsoft office suite. This might not be the manufacturer’s issue but Microsoft bilking us for yearly subscriptions. Some additional programs were nice.

solid laptop
Good solid laptop overall. Good value for the price. CPU and GPU performance is very good. Screen is good; keyboard and touchpad are nice, but the keyboard is not backlit. The speakers are on the bottom of the laptop, so sound quality is not so good. The laptop has a lightweight but durable feel to it. Windows 11 feels big and a bit sluggish at times, but the good thing is Asus didn't bloat it up, they just added one support app as far as I can tell. This review is for model X1605ZA.

Like the laptop, not so sure about Windows 11
Like the laptop! Much different then any of the prior laptops I've had. Surprised how much cooler this one is, maybe its the SSD. Still not quite comfortable with the touch pad control without control buttons, but I'll get used to it in time, I guessBattery life seems short, but maybe that's just because everything is taking a little longer because I'm not yet used to the machine

Light and fast.
I’ve only had this for a month and I’m satisfied! I stressed about purchasing the right laptop for months before making the decision. It’s light, fast and has a large screen. Great for me, I’m currently using it for typing court documents and research. Perfect

Slow and lagging
I don’t know much about computers but I’ve been using it for less than 30 days and it’s starting to be very slow. Search engines taking too long for this day and age to load, trying to watch a show on a streaming service isn’t loading and affecting the quality of the show. Now this can’t be the internet because my roommate’s laptop works fine. Also to the person who was trying to call out someone else for it not being touch screen, if something is ADVERTISED and it’s not available they have every right to complain about it, it’s RIDICULOUS for you to even mention themI’m giving another update :It says it’s 512 GB storage but under system>storage it shows 475GB. Plus I have not added any photos, videos, or other programs except downloaded 2 browsers and it’s already at 64.7 GB user with only 411GB available. My old laptop which is 13 years old has more storage and was able to handle multiple programs open open tabs without being so slow. This computer slows if you play one video and have one tab open. I only have a few days left before I can’t return it and I’m just frustrated what the issue is and would be so annoyed if I have to return and search for a new laptop.

Battery life is way too short
So I initially wanted to leave this computer a better review. Its very functional - fast, great hard drive space, ideal for every day use. I use it for work. The problem is that you need to keep it plugged in because it does not have that 8-10 hour battery life that's advertised. As a matter of fact - just yesterday I participated in a 2 hour zoom call and unplugged it died an hour and a half into it. I had to plug it back in and log back in. This obviously makes it very inconvenient and kills the portable aspect of it as i dont always have a place to plug in. It's a real shame.
