I am totally thrilled with this device! My experience with tanning lotions, potions, and creams is mostly gradual tanning creams and sprays. I also have tried darker creams and always found it left me streaky and somewhat orange. The gradual creams really require daily use, and usually I do not love their smell. The benefit of the gradual creams is no streaks, but you have to commit to it and smell funny. By the way, my natural skin color is fair, but not like white white. I am not olive skinned at all, and I tend to have a natural reddish tint to my natural tan color. I have rosacea too to give you an idea of my complexion. I was nervous about having streaks or too much orange color when I used a spray tan. I have no experience whatsoever with spray tans either. I have never had one so I just assumed I would end up orangish and with a mess after using this. I had low to moderate hopes. The actual machine is a dream. So easy to use. It is light and has constant air blowing while it is on. Once you squeeze the trigger, that is when the product is actually dispensed. It also is almost completely and totally mess free. It is a snap to set up and pack down. I used it in the shower and found you would have to actively try to make a mess in order to make a mess with this stuff. I guess you could spill the bottle. But I thought maybe I would have to invest in a tanning tent thing, but that is not necessary at all. Originally, I was going to do only do my legs because I was afraid it would be a bad tan job, and if I needed to wear jeans for a while, I was ready to hide myself. I started with my legs, but then I got ballsy and decided to go for it the rest of the way. I set the machine to setting 2 out of 8 settings. You can not see the product being applied so much, but you can feel its coolness and you know it is being applied. If you hold down the trigger and spray one area too long, you can see more product. However, there was definitely a time where I was wondering if I was even applying anything or enough. I did my face just a TEENY TINY amount because I thought of all the areas to look stupid, that would be the one! Like I did not layer or respray my face. I only sprayed my face and neck gently once. I tried to do my backside myself, and found I definitely was not doing it evenly so I called in my 12 year old daughter for help. She sprayed my backside. Sometimes I could tell too much was applied to one area, so I used the mitt. By the way, I did not wash the mitt before first time using because I missed that in the instructions. Oops. We went over each area more than once just trying to get even coverage. When we felt that it was *enough,* I was surprised how little product we used. The small bottle it comes with says it should be good for about 5 tanning sessions. Maybe because I used it on setting 2 and did not overly spray, but I think I will get more than 5 tanning sessions out of this. I am sitting here with the solution still on. It has been almost 3 years. Oh yeah, by the way...this does NOT stink!! It also does not feel gross so I do not feel the urge to run to the shower after the 1 hour mark and wash it off. I will just rinse it off later after I do some errands. My skin feels clean, and I am a bronze babe! So far the end result has exceeded my expectations. Not only was application so easy that my 12 year old can help, and we have no experience, but it also does not smell gross. It almost has no smell when you use it. The color is really natural looking. NOT orange. My husband said I looked exotic like maybe I went on a vacation and got a tan while was there. This is exactly the color and look I was after. I could see if I went to a setting 7 or 8, I could get way darker, but this is perfect for me! I am in love with this new device and feel my future is better for having it! I purchased this spray tan machine on a whim prior to a winter vacation. Certainly no expert, and have actually never had a spray tan by a professional before. However, I felt the directions to be straightforward and the machine to be easy to use. For reference, I have an olive skin tone complexion. My husband administered the first spray tan for me. I was able to use the glove and blend any spots as he sprayed. However, since the initial spray, I have sprayed myself three times. The box suggests that you can get up to five full-body sprays from the one bottle of formula included in the box. Fortunately, I don’t think I need as much to get full coverage. I have over half a bottle remaining after four sprays. I have the spray setting to three. This allows me slight coverage without appearing orange or streaky. Since returning from our vacation and not feeling as tan, this has been a game-changer. It adds just enough warmth to my complexion. If you’re looking for a lower cost at home DIY, friendly spray tan kit, this one works perfectly!

This little at home sprayer is absolutely amazing! I am shocked about how evenly it covers, even at a more intense spray level. The color that comes with it is perfect and I have the most amazing tan lines! You can do it yourself, but it does take a bit of contortioning to get to your upper back, but the nozzle is adjustable from vertical to horizontal, so that makes it easier to use. It comes with a little mitt that you can use to even out any overspray areas, but that doesn't happen very often. In summary, if you are wanting a cheap, year round tan - this is your go to device!

The spray tan gun itself is really great and doesn’t make a mess at all! I had a hard time getting the little valve open so I used tweezers to rip it a little and it worked. The spray tan solution that comes with it is a beautiful color but VERY light. Definitely NOT “ double dark” I did about 3 coats on me and it’s still a medium level, I’m hair skinned by the way. Like I said, color is beautiful but very subtle so I am going to just get a different solution. Overall the machine is great and I’m happy with my purchase!

Works great & very lightweight - there is a learning curve in that the mist is sooo fine that it doesn't look like any solution is coming out when it is. After 4 hrs of using Norvell Dark solution in the MineTan I had a tan (no streaks) worthy of a costly spray tan at a salon. Easy to clean - hope it lasts. Highly recommended!

Solution doesn’t stay on, sprays dark then washes off right after the shower. Did exactly as the directions stated. Super disappointed

I’m never going back to self tanning foams! This is so quick and easy and leaves you with an airbrush bronze. Lasts about a week, longer if you keep up with a gradual tanning lotion. So easy that my husband does my spray tans! Dries down very quickly and doesn’t leave you sticky!

This is made for a short, small hand which fortunately I have. It is very velvety and great for spreading body care products although it is meant for fake tan.

Der Mine Tan Bronze on Applicator Selbstbräunungs Handschuh wird zum Auftragen von Selbstbräunungs Schaum benutzt. Er sieht aus wie ein Küchenhandschuh, man schlüpft also mit der ganzen Hand hinein. Das Gewebe ist leicht und fein. Man gibt den Schaum auf eine Seite und schafft es damit, Selbstbräuner gleichmäßig und streifenfrei aufzutragen. Ich nutze zum Auftragen nur eine Seite, mit der zweiten gehe ich dann noch mal drüber, um alles gut zu verblenden. Der Handschuh ist angenehm, sitzt auf kleinen Händen aber sehr locker. Ich rutsche da häufig raus. Ansonsten prima, schützt die Hände vor Verfärbungen und hilft, den Schaum gleichmäßig zu verteilen. Anschließend wasche ich ihn mit lauwarmem Wasser und etwas Kernseife aus, aufhängen, er trocknet schnell ist ist danach wieder einsatzbereit.

Esta manopla ayuda a distribuir mejor el producto y a no mancharse las manos. Fácil lavado y queda como nueva para poderla usarla otra vez. Sería mejor con dedo para que no se resbale de la mano pero es cogerle práctica. Recomendable!!!
