I’m a woman but I like my hair as short as it can possibly get. Just easier. Problem is, I lost my cm at her to my regular clippers and nothing else seemed to work.I got Wahls Balding clippers (reputed for being good but even when I adjusted the blades, it would not cut evenly), I tried a foil razor, I tried a safety razor, I tried sharper blades, a cartridge razor, even a cheaper rotary razor. All of them failed to cut my Afro hair short like I wanted it.The Remington came. And cut my hair in less than 30 seconds. Dry. No irritation. Get it. If you want convenience and a nice even cut, this is the answer to your prayers.

This is a replacement I got for a cheaper imported headshaver I bought in August which I originally gave 5 stars to but I've now binned.This shaver is pitched in the middle ground between the cheap ones which I've bought and the eye-wateringly expensive ones which I'm still not prepared to fork out for yet.When the shaver arrived I was a bit not impressed as it only came with the standard US Wall Socket/UK Shaver Socket, two prong connector plug. The package only came with the shaver, the manual, the charger and the pouch. The manual states there should also be a brush and a UK if you look at the picture in this review. I scratted throughout the box but nothing other than what you see. I do have a shaver socket upstairs and loads of the adapter plugs I'm normally falling over when I'm looking for something else, but seem to be mysteriously elusive when I want to find them. However I was able to charge upstairs but it's not the ideal place as we have a downstairs shower too which is where I prefer to cut my dome after I come out. I think an improvement might be for it to be able to take a USB lead for charging. It's not a biggy but something I wasn't expecting.I've not yet tried it wet but dry, it's smooth no pulling and a clean bald cut. I can't comment on the trimmer function as I dont have facial hair and have a trimmer anyway for eyebrows, earhole hair and nostril hair. I wish those hairs would stop growing in those places and instead upon my head, then I would'nt have to buy this!It seems well made, better than the cheap one but time will tell, I just hope the blades in it last longer than the puny blades in my ex cheap version.

Works a treat. My hair is very fine and it did the job easily and quickly. Very easy too clean just remove the head and rinse under the tap. As for quality seems good but for reliability I cannot say as I’ve just used it the once. But for now a happy bunny.

Initially i was very pleased with the upgrade from a cheap unbranded shaver, it was more powerful and had a longer charge duration. However, given the price, i have found that the motor struggles when shaving against the grain, albeit it doesn't stop entirely, but most disappointing is that the shaving blade attachment has broken away from body containing the motor after only six months of use. You have to remove the blade section in order to clean the shavings, but in doing so this requires unclipping, which can need some force, sadly over time this has caused the whole unit to break apart exposing the motor to water ingress and now, having reattached it it makes an horrendous screeching sound. All in all it's build quality is poor for the price and i'm now looking for a better quality replacement. Really disappointing.

An excellent razor/head shaver.Does the job without fuss, great charge life. Good value.
