100% recommend!
Really impressed, recommended by my biological dentist. The first natural toothpaste that actually works! The zeolite is so good for absorbing and removing toxins in the mouth. I tried activated charcoal toothpaste, but my teeth were becoming very sensitive and then my biological dentist explained to me that the charcoal toothpastes are really bad for our teeth as they remove the enamel, and they this was the only toothpaste that had been researched for safety. Started using Dentagain and no issues at all. Thanks Nouveau healthcare! Customer for life.

Different, and possibly better.
The main active ingredient on this specialized toothpaste is Zeolite Clinoptilolite, a mineral that is used in many industries for its ion exchanger properties among others. It was used to help clean up the nuclear contamination at Chernobyl, and can be found in cattle feed and building materials (see Wikipaedia). It appears that it was registered as an unauthorised novel food ingredient in food supplements in Germany, where this toothpaste is made. It is included as a mouth detoxifier. Like most of the claims made for it, this seems to be unproven, and has to be taken on trust, as is true of the majority of health products. The 75ml tube, which costs £15, is different from run-of-the-mill toothpastes in being made from metal. albeit with a fine-threaded plastic collar and plastic cap. The cap takes a few turns to screw on or off. German engineering. The paste is mint green (but not mint flavoured) and a little runnier than other toothpastes. This leads to less being loaded onto the brush and consequently it has lasted quite well. After about three weeks of two or three uses per day, the tube is less than half empty. It has a distinctive taste, but it is not strong or objectionable. Some might like it. In spite of being non-abrasive, it cleans the teeth well enough, and they feel smooth, although it's too early to discern any whitening effect. Really, the same goes for the other claimed benefits, and in the end it probably comes down to whether you feel it is doing you good. For some the happiness brought by knowing you're using an exclusive German toothpaste could be enough.

A toothpaste that works!
Irritated gums healed!! Finally a fluoride free toothpaste that actually works!! My partner brought me this after researching into this, and I’m so glad he did. Impressed, only 4 days of using and my gums haven’t been irritated, no soreness and I feel like my gums are healing. Finally a natural toothpaste that works and is not greenwashing.

Not sure what I'm getting for the high price tag.
With a toothpaste that costs £15 for a tube, you have to wonder why... Have I been lucky enough to trial and review an amazing new invention for oral health... I hope so! It is 'green', so good for the planet, it doesn't contain the nasties most commerical toothpastes contain, that pleases me immensely. It makes a lot of claims, just as all the silly adverts on TV do, the type you can't justify unless you do a trial, and compare it side by side, like they do with pharma - double blind blah blah, so I waited and tried it for 10 days to see if it made a difference. Not sure they should be making some of their claims, i.e. : "repairs a leaky mouth" and "proven to detox mouth & repairs gums" hmmm, prove it please... One thing lets this product down is the brand, plain green, looks very basic, not high tech like they are trying to appear. On a shelf filled with Oral Bs and Colgates, I would not give it a second glance, it looks like a child's toothpaste. What was it like to use... it looks unappealing being grey-green, (the kind of colour your brain thinks is 'off'.) It's taste is unremarkable, but not unpleasant, it doesn't foam, and when you spit it out, well, you spit out green grey fluid, pretty gross compared to others I use regularly. After 10 days of use, I can't say I notice any difference in my mouth feel, gum health, etc. For £15, I really want to feel a difference. So will I buy it as an enthusiastic fan, nope. I wanted so much to love this having read all the claims and the effort they must've put in, but, I'm not rich, I don't even have a part time job, I can't afford to pay £15 a tube, my Forever Living is £7 a tube and I make it last a long time! I will continue to use the rest of this tube, and if I have a miracle occur in my mouth, I'll update this review.

Hideous taste
The tube is a metal one, which is a great thing to see in 2024 as way nicer than plastic (ie, you use it all and easy to recycle). Problem is, despite the purported effects, it tastes absolutely horrid, the greenish brown paste feels like you're putting sometthing tainted in your mouth, I had to spit it out and retched for quite a few minutes.

Insane difference
Wow! I cannot believe the difference in my teeth and gums. I got recommended this toothpaste by my friend. And I’m impressed, that they haven’t shoved loads of mint in, which many do not realise is just pointlessly added into make you think a toothpaste is fresh.

DentaGain - Detox Toothpaste
This toothpaste is five times the price of my normal brand, which also is natural and comes in a metal tube. The paste is a strange green colour and has a weird taste that is a hint of citrus, if feels wrong as it doesn’t foam and I don’t get that minty taste after use, it is also staining my brush head! Not for me!
