100% easier than a wooden spoon!
This was my first experience using a tool like this & I was very pleased. I have a Kitchen Aid mixer that I'd used to make bread, but I make 2 fairly large loaves & the amount of flour needed doesn't fit in the mixer bowl. I end up hand mixing the last of it on the counter. After receiving this bread whisk, I mixed the entire bread batch in a large bowl & I was so surprised at how easy the whisk made it. It's 100% easier than using a wooden spoon.I also mixed up a batch of banana bread, which is much thinner, but with the banana texture, plus added nuts, it came out very smooth. One small thing is that when you clean it, you really need to take a small brush to clean sticky dough that's kind of between the loops, where the wire doubles up, but I wouldn't take off a star for that.

A must have for avid bakers!
Love it! I've had mine for quite some time now and it has stood the test of time and alot of use! Can't say the same for my balloon whisks though. Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical of its efficacy at first but quickly realized that its design is exactly what makes it more effective than a regular balloon whisk for heavy mixtures. It's more open and durable than a balloon whisk so it doesn't get clogged and weighed down making its mixing ability far for superior. It is comfortable to use and generally takes less effort to mix and scrape because it's sturdier to use than flimsy balloon whisk wires. A balloon whisk is still ideal for combining dry ingredients or whipping wet ingredients on their own. But a bonus for the danish whisk is it's also much easier to clean. A must have for avid bakers!

Mechanical works better?
I actually bought this for a baker friend who is really into sourdough baking now. He had never heard about this type of whisk, nor had I, and he was skeptical but hey, I bought it for him to try out. After several uses he thinks it is amazing. First it pulls through his dough easily, much better than big spoons or flimsy whisks. He doesn’t need to pull out his mixer and the clean up. So far seems like a win win. The bigger handle is a big plus for him but as some have said it might be too big for smaller bowls.

Does a great job!
I’ve looked at getting one of these for a long time and finally did it. Wow, what a difference this makes when combining dough ingredients. Sorry I waited so long!

Nice Quality
Arrived on time and appears to be really nice quality! The only reason I didn't get five stars is because I haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Just buy it!
If you are a bread maker buy this whisk! I recently started baking focaccia bread and this simple tool is amazing ! Wish I had purchased it long ago. Kept thinking about it and finally decided to. Glad I did!

Easy to use and effective, with good durability.
6 months and a few dozen sourdough loaves in and this has been reliable and durable. I wash (rinse) by hand so I can't speak to its dishwasher durability. It's got enough heft to mix up a 1-2 loaf, moderate hydration dough without bending. Is it better than a large spoon? Yes, the wire is a bit more effective than a flat blade and the (larger) diameter of the handle is more ergonomic to get leverage over a typical wooden spoon.
