Patio sealer with the appearance of expensive PVA adhesive.
The Sika patio sealer easy to apply by roller or spray but the roller preferable as seems to cover more evenly and work into the surface, in fact also seems to use less liquid than spraying.Once applied a second coat can be made after about two hours which is needed, my use was for a concrete patio and obvious one coat inadequate, the sealer is sticky, odour and appearance very similar to diluted PVA adhesive but does take 24hrs or more to dry completely dependant on temperature, expected rainfall should definitely be avoided. After drying the sealer does leave a waterproof, Satin shine clear surface that is fairly resistant to abrasion by footwear or lightweight traffic of any kind such as plant pots in my case. The present persistent rainfall of the past few weeks does give indication a third coat may be needed as would I expect do regular bi-annual coatings also, however for the present the sealer seems effective in it’s protection of the concrete stain used and providing water resistance to the concrete surface.

Good quality stuff. A practical and economical choice for DIY.
My grey paved drive is 5 years old, was never originally sealed and so covered with moss in the joints and algae on the paviour faces. It looked a mess. Pressure washed then re-sanded (make sure the paviours are bone dry otherwise the sand drags). I left it a week in warm weather, and tested a small patch to see if the kiln sand slid in. It did. So re-sanded one day, and sealed the next in August 2020 as the weather was forecast to change and wanted it done. Best tip online is to use a leaf blower before sealing to help rid of excess sand. Don't worry if seems too much sand is blown away, the sand only needs to be between blocks not up high. Also don't need whacker plate as only topping sand up. NB. there are different shades of kiln sand, at different builders merchants, it depends what they can get apparently. I never realised and had to exchange 2 bags of reddish sand for blonde sand like the original as red looked awful with grey paving. Apologies I digress.... now to the BLOCK SEALER. Sika seal very easy to use, like a white PVA/acrylic liquid, goes on bluey white, dries quickly and invisibly on a hot day. Cut in edges by walls with paint brush, then first coat with roller, second with garden pump spray. It dries rock hard, as evidenced on sand blown off edge of drive when I poked it. Very pleased as it felt it might wash off at first rain when you first put it on. Close up photo is finished drive. Not glossy, but has enhanced paviour a little bit, bear in mind it was never done before, so the sealer was really sucked in. I feel it's protected now. I may do another coat or two as not too expensive to buy, and do prefer a sheen look. Amazon has great price on this when compared to other suppliers/products. Happy to update. Time will tell ☺️ good luck all, it's a very satisfying job done 👍🏼

Easy to use but wet look once dried in
Easy to put on concrete patio slabs. No bad smells and have just out it on so can't comment on whether it functions well or not. Will update.Main loss for me on this, is the dark look after putting it on. It makes the slabs look permanently wet which is a shame and not what I was expecting from a clear sealer. On the picture I have sealer the lower slabs but not the steps.

Easy to apply
Easy to apply with stick roller. Nice finish even if the patio has a slightly wet looking finish

The best product for my drive
lightly wash orp owerhose first let dry, sweep and put on with a mop. The lightweight paper type one. I always save one when it has used up its inside use, then after coating it can be thrown away.Dries in less tan 2 hours on a warm day.I have used this for many years. No awful smell with it another bonus.

Easy to apply, value for money
OK I've had my patio laid a few years ago, and I've been struggling with dirt and algae every year, I have my jet wash machine, however this year the algae was much more, and the moss much more, I decided I need to seal this stone and try to protect it.The price is decent, the delivery was next day, I'm quiet happy so far! I probably didn't use the product collected, however, i used a roller to apply it as recommended, however, i kept pouring some ans using the roller to make sure its applied all over and in-between the slabs, about 30minutes later it was all dry, in the evening I watered my lawn, a bit of water splashed on the stone, i noticed clearly water remained on the surface, and was not absorbed by the stone. I did a one generous coat but did not do a second one, that consumed half the gallon, so I guess if I feel I need a second I can still do it with the remaining. The area was about 16square meters. Sone Slabs.
