Lets me 3d Model while at lunch!
As someone who frequently switches between my personal and work computers—especially during lunch breaks for 3D modeling work—the HDMI KVM Switch 2 Monitors 2 Computers 4K@60Hz has been a game changer. This device offers a seamless solution for managing multiple computers with ease, providing both functionality and convenience in a compact package. Here’s my detailed review after using it for a few weeks.Design and Build QualityThe KVM switch is sturdy and well-built, with a minimalist design that fits well on a desk without taking up too much space. The device itself is relatively compact, making it easy to place on a desktop or under a desk without cluttering your workspace. The ports are clearly labeled, making connections straightforward, and the switch itself is designed for easy toggling between devices.Ease of SetupSetting up the KVM switch was quick and painless. The manual provided clear instructions, and I had my personal and work computers connected to the switch in under 15 minutes. The inclusion of two HDMI ports for dual monitors on each computer was a huge bonus for my 3D modeling workflow, allowing me to extend my desktop across both screens without issue. The 3 USB 3.0 ports are also an excellent feature, allowing me to easily switch my keyboard, mouse, and even my scanner and printer between the two computers without having to disconnect and reconnect cables.Performance and FeaturesOne of the standout features of this KVM switch is its 4K@60Hz support. As a 3D modeling enthusiast, I require crisp, high-definition visuals, and the switch delivers that flawlessly. Whether I’m working on a detailed design or watching high-definition content, the switch maintains excellent picture quality across both monitors. There is no noticeable lag or degradation in the video feed, even when switching between computers. The USB 3.0 ports perform well, allowing me to share peripherals between my two systems with zero latency. The ability to quickly toggle between my work and personal computers with a simple press of the button on the desktop controller is incredibly convenient. It eliminates the need to manually disconnect and reconnect cables, which can be time-consuming and frustrating when I’m in the middle of tasks.Dual Monitor SupportFor anyone who uses multiple monitors, the dual monitor support is a must-have feature. I was able to connect both monitors to the KVM switch, extending my desktop on both computers. This is particularly important for my 3D modeling, as I rely heavily on multiple windows and tools that span across multiple screens. The dual-monitor support works perfectly, allowing me to switch between my personal and work computers without disrupting my workflow.ReliabilityOver the past few weeks, the KVM switch has been rock-solid. I’ve used it every day, often toggling between systems multiple times during lunch breaks, and I’ve never encountered any issues. The switch reliably remembers the settings for both monitors, and I haven’t experienced any flickering, dropped connections, or lag. This reliability is crucial, especially when juggling multiple tasks on both computers.Final ThoughtsOverall, the HDMI KVM Switch 2 Monitors 2 Computers 4K@60Hz is an excellent addition to my home office setup. It has significantly improved my workflow by allowing me to easily switch between my personal and work computers while sharing peripherals like my keyboard, mouse, and printer. Its performance is top-notch, with impressive 4K resolution support, seamless dual monitor functionality, and fast USB 3.0 ports. Whether you're a professional who needs to manage multiple systems or simply want a more efficient way to control your computers, this KVM switch is a highly recommended solution.

Solid KVM for Dual PC Setup
This has been a solid and dependable KVM switch that I have used to swap displays and peripherals between a personal PC and Dell Docking station. The KVM comes with several additional cables, including decent quality USB3.0 transfer cables and works well for its intended purpose. THE KVM itself is small and compact taking minimal desk space, however I would highly recommend using an under-desk mounting solution for the sake of cable management and using the included remote switch. Additionally, I like the included switch button as it has a nice silicone texture and comes with a decently long cable. It's small size means that you should plan for a mounting solution for the switch as it will easily be knocked aside in daily use, I personally used half a command strip. It is also worth noting that like with ANY KVM, if you are running high resolution video out of both monitors for a very long period, the chipset will need some ventilation as it will heat up with the data processing. From what I can tell, this switch does not have an internal fan, but it doesn't really need one if placed in a well-ventilated area. Performance wise, there is little to no noticeable speed reduction from inputs, I was able to Run Star Citizen at 2K resolution with no noticeable input lag from mouse or keyboard peripherals. Overall, this device has worked very well and is in my opinion an excellent switch for the price point.

Smooth Switching and Fast USB3.0
So far so good with the EVATEK HDMI KVM Switch! I’m running two computers with dual monitors, and this device handles 4K@60Hz great. No lag, no dropped signals, and the video quality stays sharp.Switching between computers is fast and reliable using either the front button or the desktop controller, which is super convenient. The USB 3.0 ports are a huge bonus. I can easily share my keyboard, mouse, and even my printer and scanner without any issues or delays.Setup was very straightforward, and everything feels solid and well-built. Trickiest part is cable management and being OCD like me. I’ve had my share of switches and this one is one of the better of them and much cheaper too.

Great KVM Switch for Work/Home Use – Some Minor Audio Quirks
The media could not be loaded. I bought this KVM switch so I could easily toggle between my work computer and home computer using the same keyboard, mouse, and monitors. For the most part, it works great and has made my setup much more convenient. If you're into gaming or using specialized hardware like Astro headphones, just be aware: I had some issues. My wireless Astro headset connects through a base station, and when I plugged it into the KVM, I ran into weird feedback issues. The headset uses two audio channels, and I think the switching caused some confusion or interference. I eventually just used a different pair of headphones for work and kept the Astros for my home PC.I also ended up getting a separate USB switcher because sometimes I wanted to use my home computer on the TV to play music or have something on in the background while working. Being able to swap keyboard and mouse control easily without switching my monitor inputs each time was a big plus for me. Your needs might differ, but this setup worked well for mine.I’ve tried other KVM switches before, and while they worked, they didn’t feel as clean or user-friendly. One thing I really liked about this one is that all the connections are on the back. That allowed me to route all my cables in the same direction and keep the unit looking neat on the desk. (Granted, my cable management is still a mess—but that’s on me.)I’m not 100% sure if the graphical fidelity is perfect—there might be some slight signal loss—but for my purposes, the trade-off in convenience has been absolutely worth it.This review was written by me but rewritten for clarity with help from ChatGPT.
