Sir, is it compatiable with any other compiler like mikroc and keil uvision? Can we burn any hex file generated by any compiler?

PICkit3 is the programmer/ debugger. It supports 8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit PIC MCU's. You can burn any hex file generated by mikroc, MPLAB IDE & MPLAB XIDE by using PICkit3. keil doesnt support PIC MCU's.

Have you used it for production? Microchip recommends that PICkit3 is not suitable for production purpose. You can use our 'Single PIC Programmer' which is for production only. It is available on Amazon.
