So I have a pioneer headunit with carplay and this finally helped me establish wireless carplay for the short car trips. The head unit has a lightning cable, so I added a lightening to USB adapter,k so this unit would plug into it. Once installed, it worked flawlessly with the aftermarket Pioneer head unit. The only issue: once the car is off, it will not automatically generate prower from the connection. This item needs to be unplugged and plugged back in, so the head unit gives it power again. I don't really know if its the unit or the small usb adapter from the lightning cable. Either way, it is a minor inconvenience. I will keep trying to figure that out and perhaps use a lightning to USB-C adapter instead.

Worked great in my daughter’s 2019 Jeep Cherokee. Once plugged in and connected the setup to her phone was very easy. After initial setup her phone connects very quickly. The sound quality is very good with this device. There have been no issues with compatibility with the Uconnect unit in her Jeep and her IPhone.I have a competitors wireless CarPlay device in my Ram and it takes what I would now consider a long time to connect, now that I’ve seen how quickly this unit connects.

Trash quality. Used for less than a year before issues started. It constantly will connect and disconnect whenever it feels like it. It’s disappointing due to the cost of the unit and the lack of any customer service. Guaranteed there are much better units for equal price that stand by their product and provide warranty.

Works pretty seamlessly to connect my iPhone and my husband’s android to our van wirelessly! Sometimes it takes longer to connect and i have to fumble around in my settings on my phone to get it connected, but it rarely happens. One funny thing is that our garage is on the other side of our family room and sometimes my phone will connect to the Bluetooth WiFi in the car for the CarPlay even without the car being on.

Was great, while the dongle worked, but sadly it died after 4mo of active use. Looked at reaching out to customer support, and they've been giving me the run around for over a month looking at getting a replacement.So i have 1 unit that is now dead (ordered on October 24, 2024), and bad customer service. Its been about 8mo of it working.The 2ndary one i bought, is starting to fail at only 7mo of use. Bit worried about quality control.Thing is, these dongles worked great, the problem is when they break down, and warranty claiming replacement, the company is not responsive in a resolution of repair, or exchange.Currently in talks using the amazon messaging platform to get a warranty exchange, but as it stands, its looking like i won't get one. I'll update this to reflect if anything was done by the seller to replace the faulty units.

We tried 3 other wireless android auto adapters with our 2021 Toyota Highlander and none of them worked. Even much more expensive ones from known brands. All of them dropped out constantly or never really worked right at all. This thing works perfectly. No app to install, no configuration needed. Just plug it in, Bluetooth to it and voila! Could NOT be happier. Immediately ordered a 2nd one for a 2nd vehicle.
