My personal take.
I am writing it after a week. So battery has no issues, except it depends on usage. On standby mode, it's good really good. Build quality is solid and look beautifully technical. Camera is okay, not good and not bad also. Just working. Display is stunning, animations are killer in hyper os 2. In my experience of 7 days i didn't feel any lag during work. My main work on it is about running all kind of applications - from image editor to remote the pc, to run video editing locally. No lag at all. Multitasking do make device slow, that's known issue with any tablet. It's brightness i say is good, speakers are really impressive with Dolby Atmos and quality. Would I recommend it? Simple answer - yes. Long answer - it's not just a writing or reading tablet or netflix binge watching machine. It's capable to be a light workstation. Rating after comparision with many other tab of this price point -5/5. Rarely disappointing.

Descent product for video, study, secondary device.
Product is sturdy, well made for study, video and surfing. Refresh rate is also decent. If we use 5g then battery drains faster as cases with 5g. Othwerwise perfect.

Go for this
Flawless at this price range. The software is good (although I haven't got the OS2 update yet) But it is good for daily use. Little to no lag considering 6/128. BGMI runs smooth (low/medium graphics) although upto 60 fps. Battery life is appreciable. I bought it mainly for note taking & it does the job very well, shoutout to the redmi smart pen as well. The screen size & quality must be talked about here too, which are very good.

Great Tablet for Media and Note-Taking
I am very happy with my purchase of this tablet. I got the WiFi-only variant and mainly use it for media consumption and note-taking. Battery & Performance: The battery life is excellent, easily lasting two days with my usage. While streaming movies, the battery drains gradually, which is expected. No heating issues so far. The 120Hz refresh rate does consume more power, so I keep it at 90Hz, which feels smooth and balanced. Performance is decent—there are minor lags, but nothing too concerning. I don’t multitask or use split-screen, so it works well for my needs. I don’t game and haven’t tried any, so I can't comment on gaming performance. Display & Audio: The display is the highlight of this device—colors are vibrant and crisp. Brightness is average but manageable. The speakers with Dolby sound great, offering a good media experience. Charging & Connectivity: Charging speed is respectable with the 33W support. I usually charge from 30% to 80%, and it charges fairly quickly. Bluetooth connectivity is seamless—I have no issues pairing it with my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones. Wired earphones also work well with my Samsung Type-C (EO-IC050), and I appreciate the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack and expandable storage. Overall, this tablet delivers a great experience for media and productivity at this price point. (Note: This review is based on 1 week of use. I will update if anything changes.)

Best in segment
Pros : It's a good product overall for day to day work. Brighteness is good compared to other tabs in segments. Provides 5G and performace is good though you might face a bit lag if you're a hard-core gamer. RAM and internal space is good (8GB/256GB). You can extend storage upto 1TB SD card additionally. You can enjoy streaming on apps like YouTube or OTTs. Sound quality is good Cons : The battery is 10000Mah but it drains eventually. This could have been better. It's a metal body however you could see your fingerprints left over at the back. Camera quality is average. Overall it's a value for money tablet and can be used for kids learning, entertainment and official purpose

Great tab with negligible flaws
I have used it for almost 2 days now. This is my first Redmi device. Great performance courtesy of SD processor. Good standby time. Decent recharge time of almost 1 hr and 45 mins. Big 2.5K display looks awesome but drains quite a lot of power. Plays 4K videos with no lag. It even detects my 2Tb external HDD. Only con is that display has yellowish tint on it but this can be adjusted by tweaking the colors to cold. Also the colors are a bit dull compared to my Realme pad. This runs on android 14 out of the box and Mi promises 2 years of OS updates. Didn't test any games. Expandable memory and earphone jack are icing on the cake. I got it only for something like eighteen k with card discounts. Get an OTG and this detects a normal USB mouse and a 500GB memory card and this becomes a mini laptop. The triple dots on the top of the screen provides great multi-window option. Overall a must buy if you are looking for an all round performer on a budget. Edit - The apps keep closing once the screen is off apparantly this is a known issue in Hyper OS. Quite frustrating. This issue was resolved after some digging in the net. Also, the OS isn't as friendly as the Realme OS. Got my first Hyper OS update on January 2025 so this now runs on Android 15.Best tab.
