These work great. I tried a different style with holes in the plastic top instead of the metal mesh. It didn’t let the water drain enough and left the seeds soggy. This one is easy to use and functions as it should. And I like the small footprint it takes up on the counter.

Purchase these to go on the end of a mason jar to see if we could grow some seeds and they work! They’re not a fanciest or the most expensive but if you’re just testing something out then this is a great starter.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I choose this product because I don’t have extra bowls to tip my jars in for sprouting seeds. And if I did they would be rather bulky in my cabinet when starting the sprouting process in the dark cabinet. These gadgets don’t take up any extra room. And I love a gadget that is just right for the job. I even use one of the lids when not in use to sit my jar of sole water in so that I don’t get salt residue all over my counter so dounlenwin for me. I love these new sprouting jar lids. The "foot" keeps the jars angled correctly with no collapsing like some of the other stands I've tried. They're a little tricky to screw on, though, and it sometimes takes several tries to get them on properly which is why I'm deducting a star. Still, they're better than other brands I've tried and with these there's no need to buy a separate stand. I would recommend them.

The lids need to be easier to tighten and loosen. The metal stand technically works, but is a bit looser than I'd like.

I am so excited over this item! I purchase the seeds as well. This is a GREAT way to grow your own super nutrients. It is easy to use. Keep a supply of seeds on hands for future needs. Grows quickly and takes up very little space. I actually split up the order and gave the other one to my close friend. Makes a great gift for ones who like to eat healthy and grow their own produce!

These are a nice design and if they worked well would be worth the money. However, I struggle to get them to goo to the jar and then I can’t get them off. Wish they were metal with the stand so that they would be easy on and off. I have RA so have difficulty opening things at the best of time. I will try and see if they work better on another wide mouth jar because the ones I have tried they don’t work well at all. My husband was t around and I could t get the lid off so I could make my sprouted buckwheat cereal this morning. Disappointed. My husband wants to try Vaseline but I’m not keen on that.
