Was testing this ESC without load to the motors, only powering the RC receiver. Unit got extremely hot and melted the plastic wrap. The 2 chips on the end got so hot they came unsoldered. Was using a 11.1v LiPo. I was just glad it happened on my desk and I caught it, otherwise my RC could have been toast.

Have a toy RC with two small brushed motors (180 size?) so should have been no issue at 2S. However, on acceleration it would cutout and reset my dumborc receiver which turns off the lights. It would come back up only to do the same thing over again. Switched to the Hobbywing WP880 dual brush motor esc and works as expected. Too bad as it seemed well made and is about 30% cheaper then the Hobbywing. Returned this ESC. I only tried the one so maybe you'll have better luck with it.

Finally got to test this esc and it sucks if I'm honest. The tank goes left and right with only the right track working and goes forward just fine but going backwards only one track spins Also the esc is getting very hot, smells like burning and I'm only using it on 3s 11.1v and 390 motors. Tried it on 550 motors too, same results as before I'm having to revert back to using two escs and a stick style transmitter. Because I do not want to keep buying parts for my projects I thought this would have been great for me to use a wheel transmitter on but in fact it is utterly useless I would have sent a video as photos do not give it justice but I have already removed it all from my tank

Tried this ESC in a small old Radio Shack truck. It is very unstable. BEC seems to cutoff power to the receiver frequently. Not overheating issue since this can happen on the first try of the day. I returned it and ordered the FPVKing that works great.
