Garmin Drive 52 EX, GPS Navigator with 5” Display, Simple On-Screen Menus and Easy-to-See Maps

One of the reviews indicated that this Garmin unit is old technology and maps cannot be updated. This is incorrect. Some corporate networks block updating gps files. This was the case for me but there was no problem making updates with my home network. This is a nice unit and I recommend it if you want a smaller display (which is good because you should not look at it while driving anyway and less windshield is obscured).Also, a recent review indicated the Sd card does not work. It does work. Be sure you use a class 10 card that has large capacity. Map updates use a lot of space.

I had a NUVI 265W for 16 years and it went out on me as I return early this month and I have not been able to use the new yet I will know later this month if it is as good as the old one, at tis point it is a little more difficult to program but similar.

The unit will not connect to Garmin to get updates. So, badly outdated it works barely!

I've have Garmin before is was great for many years, This one was horrible. Gave the wrong directions, a lot of address would not come up even after updating the map. I am very disappointed. Amazon would not let me return it. So i am out he money i spent on this cus i am not able to use it. I also just to to a different state which was the use for this and i could not use it. was very frustrating.

So far I am not impressed that I wasn’t able to just plug it in and go!
