This actually works so much better than expected. The fingerprint thing reads really well as long as you line up your finger the same way every time. We are using it for our halfway house and it's really nice because I don't have to give out any keys and if the person moves out of the house, I just use the app to remove the fingerprint. I love the auto lock feature, but if you don't use auto lock, there is no way to lock it without using your phone. When I am late for work and need to run out of the house, I wish there was a button on the unit that I could hit on my way out, instead of trying to find my phone in my purse, wait a few seconds for it to connect to the internet, then lock it with my phone.

This is my favorite and very good lock for the price. It was super easy to install and program. It is sturdy and fits well. Lots of options on how to unlock and lock. Fingerprint works so fast and convenient. I also like the app option you can do by metric code. It’s actually been the most perfect door lock mechanism.

I’m impressed with the quality of this door lock. It looks pretty and the installation was pretty easy. I love the different options I have to unlock it (app, fingerprint, key, card, keypad). It’s totally worth the price.The app could be better, but it’s simple and easy to use.

Original review after a few weeks: (Update below this).Purchased this for a garage entryway to keep from using a garage door as an entry point for traffic. Looked at name brand locksets and ended up getting this one due to the vast array of ways to unlock. So far so good. Fingerprint was easy to set up and works well. Keypad same. Physical key is a little rough, but that's a last resort. Haven't used the card access yet.I would have like to have the ability to not have it auto lock, which I thought would be annoying if I needed to go in and out doing yard work, DIY projects, etc. But with the fingerprint, it doesn't slow one down.Overall would recommend. It's only been a week, so I cannot attest to the longevity of the product yet.Update: 1/26/24If you live in cold weather climates, this may be an issue. With the recent cold snap I noticed that the fingerprint function stopped and then it appeared to be on an error cycle to where it kept repeating “operation failed”. And this was not when I was attempting to use the lock. I had just walked outside and heard the phrase repeating itself every 5-10 seconds. Removed the lock and brought it inside to “warm up”. After 12 hours I reinserted batteries and the finger print function worked again. But within 20 minutes the error cycle began without being touched.I’ll be investing in a kwikset or Schlage now.

Looks heavy duty. I like the multiple ways to unlock. We will see how long it will last.PROS:1. multiple ways to unlock door ( fingerprint, keycode, bluetooth, card reader, physical key and wifi )2. The fingerprint scanner works as designed and has fast recognition.3. easy installation process -- ( this is if you are replacing your current door lock without any adjustments) -- took a bit longer since after I installed it, the door was getting caught and not closing properly -- I had to sand down the door and chisel down some material to have the locks fit snug in the holes.CONS1. no option to disable/enable from inside -- ( i have pets you that reach the door lever and pull it down ) i needed to engage the deadbolt to make sure the door is not accidentally opened )2. if you disable the AUTO LOCK FEATURE -- you will need to manually lock it using the NICE DIGI APP. -- there is no physical switch to lock/unlock from the inside.3. the door action is light and can be easily pulled down by small children and pets. - spring needs to be heavier4. instruction manual does not cover some functionality --- (eg. the door lock will be disabled after 5 attempts - and will reset after 90 seconds. )5. need to purchase a wifi bridge to be able to unlock/lock remotely via a 2.4 GHZ network connection

It has been working great, so far for over a week. No issues like others seem to be having.Installation was easy. Was just replacing an older door knob and the cutouts were standard and fit perfectly.Pairing with app went fast, just had to remember to activate the keypad to "wake it up" the lock to start pairing.Registering finger prints with the lock is very similar to doing it on a phone. Just move your finger around the lock sensor to get different angles. You can add additional finger prints (different fingers) or more angles of the same finger if you want.Another plus was it recognized the security fob I use for my apartment for the security entry door and elevator. I just registered it with lock via the app.Entered a numeric passcode. Also created a random, "one time use" code that I will give to the resident manger in case they need entry in case of emergency. Need to keep that number handy when they call for the code.Also got the WiFi bridge (separate) so I can unlock the door when I'm not at home and someone needs to drop something off.The biggest problem I had was trying to make a duplicate key (2 were included). After many tries I finally got one made. Part number - ilco DM1054K - MD17For me, I will use the finger print sensor most of the time. If all else fails the physical key can open the door.Overall, very satisfied with the product and quick response from the support team (tried to see if they sold blank keys, they don't).Update: 12/30/2024 - Been over a year and still have had no issues. Great product!
