This is a great idea! I use this in my car to do things the built-in 'infotainment' system can't. As a continuous glucose monitor user, I can watch my blood glucose levels on this whilst I'm driving, so I can see it at a glance, making driving safer! This is because of the screen mirror ability, it can mirror a single app or your entire phone. See picture for the mirroring of my camera taking a picture (obviously this was taken during installation, not while driving!) this makes it very useful for older and new cars It connects with android auto or carplay so you can use maps and play songs from your phone whether they are saved to your phone or you use a streaming service. The touch screen is very responsive, no noticeable lag or anything. It took about 10 minutes to install, there are several mounting options including on dash or on windscreen, it then took just a moment to connect to phones Bluetooth. Set up is easy and it guides you through it on screen, see pic It works very well, it's bright enough to see when it's sunny. Good value for money. Would recommend

I recently installed the LAMTTO 9-inch Wireless Car Stereo in my Mercedes-Benz EQB, and I’m very happy with it. It was surprisingly easy to install and synced seamlessly with my iPhone via Apple CarPlay. The large display is clear and responsive, making navigation and media control very convenient while driving. The included reverse camera also works really well and was easy to mount—great picture quality and it integrates nicely with the screen. Overall, it’s a fantastic upgrade for the price. Definitely worth the money!

Better than unexpected works well and connects very fast every time, only gripe is the window mount could do with being a bit more substantial ..it wobbles a bit when going over bumps but it's not excessive 8/10 Value 10/10

Very nice unit. The screen is great quality and perfect size. Big and clear but not so big that it takes over the dash board. Has a suction windscreen mount or a self adhesive mount to go on the top of the dashboard. That also has holes in for screwing to the dash if you want. Set up is very easy following the instructions and then connections easily and quickly to the phone automatically everytime it is switched on giving the usual car play functionality. The power supply also includes an FM transmitter so you can get auto from the unit through your car stereo by tuning the radio in. Has an option for a reversing camera to be connected but it does not come with that. Have found this to be a great addition to the car. Great to have access to digital radio, navigation from the phone etc with easy touch access for answering calls etc. All in all very pleased with it

Initially a very good screen easy to connect and use with plenty of options to install in your car. However, after updating my iPhone to iOS 26, I can connect but the side bar on the screen no longer responds to touch meaning you cannot get to your apps. The screen defaults to whatever you were using last. Touch screen does still work for the main screen so if your last app was maps, you can still navigate. If this gets fixed with an update ok, if not I will have to return .

Wireless Carplay for connecting Android Auto. The wireless Carplay screen supports the wireless connection of CarPlay and Android Auto to link between the phone and the car. Very useful as the car unit did not have carplay and android auto functions. Setup was very easy and straightforward. I used the monitor base to install the device in the car. The power cord was quite long and was able to hide the cable in the seams of the dashboard (with the tool provided). Helped me to save a lot of installation costs. Once the device was on, the connection to the android phone (I guess will be similar on an iPhone) was very simple. All I had to do was connect using bluetooth connection and the device connected straightaway to the android mobile/android auto. An older carplay model I used also needed wifi connection to be made simultaneously to the mobile. This hindered any further wifi connnections on the mobile. However, this new model did not need to do so. A bluetooth connection was sufficient freeing up wifi. It straightaway started working with the navigation apps. I tested 3 different apps: Googlemaps, TomTomGo and Sygic. All worked fine with selecting the relevant app on the carplay device screen. GPS location depends on the mobile and therefore the carplay device did not need its own gps locator. The wireless car play screen can be controlled through Google Voice Assistant. There was no need to touch the screen if you want to answer the phone, just say the command "answer call". Calling from the device was extremely easy. Activating voice operation function on screen, I was able to use voice to initiate a call from the contacts on the phone. Surprisingly it even queried which contact I wanted to call as I had two with similar names in the contact list. It can also follow instructions to open the relevant app on the phone. Can completely remove the need to click on the mobile, to wirelessly access music, GPS navigation and other functions of the phone for safe driving. Surprised to see that it has the option/ possibility to connect a reversing camera too (reverse camera and lead not supplied). Should be able to use a reverse camera with permanent installation (according to the manual) - please see photos of the manual attached. I did not use this as my reverse camera is already hardwired to the car. Manual has clear instructions for calibrating the reverse parking (distance, using parking space). Another good feature is android cast, mirroring the phone on the screen. I did not test this yet, will update soon. Has many audio output options. Speaker, Bluetooth and also FM transmitter. FM transmitter is very useful to play songs via the car speakers (without the need for an additional FM transmitter/adapter). This device definitely offers a safer, more comfortable driving experience. Once connected first time, it auto connects seamlessly to the phone every time in the car, and there is no longer the need to take the mobile out of the pocket and repeatedly insert the cable (especially in this cold winter!). Would definitely recommend.

Really pleased with this piece of kit. The screen size is excellent and the touch screen is very responsive. It boots immediately and so far, three weeks in, has never failed to connect to my phone which was the reason I decided to replace my previous, cheaper version. Picture quality is really good and I use the included aux cable to use the aux input in my car as it is old and doesn't have a Bluetooth radio. I have also tested the FM option and that works well with good sound quality through the stereo. As mentioned, the touch screen is very responsive making it easy to scroll through the various screens. With the screen being larger I use the split screen option much more than I used to on my previous, smaller version. Set up was a breeze, literally went into Bluetooth on my iPhone, tapped the unit name, confirmed the pairing and that was it. Could not have been easier. The package includes two mounts and a round sticky pad which I have put on the dashboard. The unit is very stable, doesn't shake around when driving and has not fallen off once yet. I can only recommend this item, I was a little nervous about spending this much when cheaper options were available but this was really worth the money and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
