Affordable and work great.
Good alternative to the expensive filters from Backscatter and PolarPro.- SIZE: make sure you order the right one and they will fit perfectly. For those who complained of the wrong size (too big), they have the Gopro 3+ or 4 and ordered the version for Gopro3. Mine (Gopro3 black) fits perfectly and snapped on and off easily.- QUALITY: the filters are exactly the same as that of PolarPro which I paid $30 each couple years back. Certainly won't last forever but at least it won't break the bank when you eventually need to replace it. Mine from PolarPro lasted for almost 2 years with 100+ dives and only broke because I opened it harshly (while being pissed off of something else).- FUNCTIONALITY: make sure you do your research about underwater photography and the use of filter before complaining that it ruins your footage. It's like buying a motorcycle without learning how to ride 2 wheels and then complaining that the motorcycle breaks your neck... actually in this, case you won't get to complain at all!!!

What a difference these make underwater.
Can't say enough about these filters. They snap right on with no trouble on the newer (3+ and newer) housing. They don't fall off even under some questionable circumstances. ive found that the dark red one is a little extreme, so tread lightly with that one. I use the scuba or light red one the most, with the Neutral density in second. If you don't use these underwater, especially in more than 5-10' of salt water, your footage or photos will be way too blue and green. The pictures I took are of the same rock formation in Sharks Cove of Oahu. Taken seconds apart, it shows the major difference these filters make. I didn't edit these photos at all.

Works for the price.
I bought this on Cyber Monday bc I was diving Saturday on an Island off of California. I have the GoPro Hero 4. The packaging says it is for the Hero 3+ Kit, so I was a little nervous to open it up.It does fit, not as snug as I would like, but for half the cost of the other filters I am happy. Each filter has a loop for a string to be attached, but it does not come with any. :-(

Useless
Red filter used at noon at 60ft depth on a sunny day in Cozumel was WAY TOO RED, producing videos containing nothing but red & black. This was also the same at all depths. The lighter colored filter for shallower water would not stay snapped onto to the front of the GoPro (way too loose), so I couldn't try it as an alternative. I have no need for the neutral density or the magenta filter where I dive, so the whole package was basically useless. Don't waste your valuable dive time with this cheap filter kit. I have since bought the CYD filter from SRP (snake river prototyping) and it works great.

Fits Most 3+ Underwater Housings
Extremely well made with useful filters and a functional storage case. These hold firmly onto my underwater case. One of their beauties is that you can take pics/video as you are leaving the boat then quickly pop the filter on for color corrected underwater shots. Putting the filter on underwater eliminates air bubbles between the filter and the lens. There seems some confusion on what this fits. I have the Gopro 3+ silver. This fits my underwater housing beautifully. If you have the 3+ and the underwater housing that is larger than your other housing and has 8 screws around the lens, this will fit.

Needs to either update the photo or the product description.
The product description is incorrect. These filters will only fit the standard Hero 3 housing and not the slimmer 3+ or 4 housing. If you don't know the difference, one way you can tell is to look at the lens on your housing. If it's secured by screws then you have the standard 3 housing. Additionally, a nylon case was provided but I didn't receive and microfiber wipe.Aside from the above issues, I have both housings so I was able to still use these during my recent trip to Hawaii. Using the filters is pretty self explanatory, just need to make sure you know which filter to use for the water conditions. The pink filter is what I used the most in which did make a difference. Popping these filters on is easy, just make sure you don't install them incorrectly as the tether notch should always be on the outside of the case and not covering the LCD screen.I'll continue to use these but only giving 3 starts since the product being advertised is not the actual product that will be purchased. Potential buyers, please double check what case you have.

Bad product, ignorant user, or just settings?
I don't know how deep everyone else is going. I am just getting my 60' open water certification and tried to use the red "scuba" filter and as you can see from the snapshot, its VERY red. Is this just a setting or problem with the filter? The warming filter took pretty good photos but don't use it near a pool. During scuba there was always water between the lens and filter so there was no issue but if you get water between the lens and filter and then it drains you will find it continually fogging.

Excellent Product
This is great! Arrived as promised and fits my old GoPro 3 housing perfectly. Can't wait to see how it does when I go diving next.
