I still went with AMD CPU, price point speed is about right.
I recently purchased the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X Processor for a new PC build, and I am extremely happy with my choice. The installation was straightforward, and the setup with my new MSI PRO X870-P WIFI Motherboard, 64GB of Crucial Pro DDR5 RAM, and MSI GeForce RTX 4060 VENTUS 2X 8GB OC Graphics Card was a breeze. While I don't use this PC for gaming, it is my primary machine for general use and demanding tasks like photo editing. From the moment I booted up the system, I was impressed with the speed and responsiveness. The processor, with its 6 cores and 12 threads, handles multitasking and demanding applications with ease. The product arrived from Amazon with no issues, and I was pleased to confirm it was a genuine product. The peace of mind that comes with a reliable purchase is always a plus.Overall, this is a fantastic processor that offers excellent performance for its price point. It's a perfect match for a modern productivity PC.Pros:Excellent Performance: Great speed and responsiveness for photo editing and general use.Easy Installation and Setup: Seamlessly integrated with my MSI motherboard and other components.Genuine Product: Received a genuine item from Amazon with no issues.Great Value: Offers strong performance without breaking the bank.Cons:Does not come with a stock cooler, which is standard for a processor of this type, so be sure to have a separate cooling solution ready.Five stars. Highly recommended for anyone building a new system for demanding productivity tasks.

Great processor
Very happy with this processor. It's powerful, energy efficient, reasonably priced compared to similar options (at the moment), speedy and doesn't run especially hot as long as you pair it with a decent cooling solution. More than capable of running all of the AAA games and graphic design software I use without being over-the-top beefy for the average consumerOnly downside is that many older manufactured B650 motherboards require a BIOS update in order to be compatible. This is absolutely fine as most of them are capable of this without a CPU installed, but do double check compatibility on your motherboard's website and make sure it has a Q-flash feature or similar

Much Better compared to 7600x
The media could not be loaded. Much better temps compared to my 7600x, went from running constantly at 95c to a comfortable 75c when gaming with higher FPS and no dropped frames. No more throttling and better performance. In bios make sure to enable 105 watts of tdp so to get higher clock speeds all the time, this CPU has made my life less miserable and i would 100% recommend it for the price. If you are building in a fractal terra this is a better option for sure as it generates much less heat and gives better performances even if very slightly.

Decent for a new budget build in 2025
I'll be frank, if you're upgrading, then maybe this isn't the best choice for you. I think there are bigger performance jumps to be had elsewhere. However, if you're building from scratch and looking for a processor that can handle most tasks you throw at it, this one's a solid option. The pricing is a bit higher than the unicorn CPU, the 7500f, but since you can only buy that directly from China, this one is easier to get and offers a bit more performance. I used it alongside an Intel graphics card and didn't face any compatibility issues, which was a relief. Installation was straightforward, but be aware that it doesn't come with a boxed fan—you'll need your own cooler.I won't provide benchmarks here since performance can vary, but there are plenty of resources online for you to check out. In short, I'd recommend it for a new build. If your intention is to upgrade your current rig, you might want to look elsewhere for better gains.

Good item
Is working fine so far, hard to give a final score of 5 since it's been less than 1 month

Reliable and easy on the wallet
Works well and no issues whatsoever - probably the best at my budget from the 9000 series (for gaming)

Low temps, low TDP high performance
Upgraded from a 7600x which had incredibly high CPU temps at idle. The 9600x has slightly higher performance metrics and half the TDP at 65w. Keeping the CPU high performance and low temps.
