This simple non-return air vent does it's job reasonably well. When it arrived I saw it would be very noisy and clatter a lot in the wind. I modified it by making an adjustable weight arm that holds it shut better than it otherwise would. I've also put a little bit of lithium grease around the inner join to help stop it bouncing when closeing under gravity. Even with these modifications, I still hear it opening and slamming shut on blustery days. It's a lot less annoying after modification than it could have been mind! It's not exactly obvious which way around it's supposed to work. Would be nice to include a simple arrow showing which way to fit it. Not too tricky to work out by experiment of course.

Accurate size (not always the case with vent and ducting products). Is a little noisy but I’ve sorted that with a thin line of silicone where the flap contacts the body

Great exhaust vent! I have this installed into my ceiling to vent my grow tent. I like that the flap will close if I shut my exhaust fan off or the power goes off. Nothing can fall back into my 6” hose and into my exhaust fan. Well made and reliable.

My new roof vent had no provision for attaching the duct. This is ideal for my bathroom exhaust fan. Easy to install and I taped all around to omit leakage.
