Effective and Great Value
Bought these for my garden this year and came back twice for more. My garden is looking great and I'm expecting they'll really help when the summer heat hits. I've used other ollas before and I like the construction of these better. Great value at this price. I'd be interested if they ever came out with a larger capacity version.

They work well for me in Phx Az
These will hold water for at least 24 hours in my 8 x4 x 2 steel box garden.I fill the 6 of them in the morning. When I check them in the evening for the 2nd round they still have at least 1/3 of the water left. Its hot here in Phoenix in the summer and my garden gets full day sun. I also have 40% shade cloth up and straw covering the soil. Works to keep the soil moist so my pepper and tomato plants suffer too much in the mid day heat.

Largest watering pot for the price.
I did a lot of looking and searching before I purchased these watering pots. Things you need to consider before you decide on which one's you need are the size of the the pot you are putting them in and how much the plant you are watering uses. Some plants need more water than others, if you are an experienced gardener forgive me for stating the obvious. For my needs these have worked very well. They say they will water up to a week, again that depends on your plants and the weather if using outdoors. I use mine outdoors in tomatoes and cucumbers and have had to fill them twice weekly. I live in Oklahoma so I know in July and August the temperature will rise to triple digits from time to time and I will have to fill them more often but that being said I still think they will be a game changer for the health of my plants in those high heat conditions. I chose these aftering comparing many different types, the shape, the amount they hold, and price. These hold 23.67 oz (700ml) I found this to be the best and largest for the price and so far have been very pleased. I hope this helps in your search for watering needs. Happy gardening!!

Perfect for all plants
These are absolutely amazing! I am always having a hard time remembering to water my plants but this works like a charm. They are a perfect size for my pots. I purchased only 1 set, but will get additional one in different sizes. They are super simple to use.

They work
These work as described; they are clay vessels that hold water and disperse it over time. The only complaint I have is they seem to let the water seep out faster than another brand I had. I am not sure if this is due to wall thickness, or if the clay is of lesser quality over the name brand. Either way, they do help to hold over the plants on weekends I am away.

An affordable and well made olla
Great quality for the price. Ordered 6 in total and all arrived in good condition. The way I plan to use these is in grow bags with peppers and cucumbers to get water down to the roots once the plant matures. I live in the desert so encouraging deeper root growth helps the plants not dry up during the summer. So far I have noticed that the water seems mostly gone from the olla after a day or so. They are a good size and I think they hold a fair bit of water. I also hand water with fertilizer once weekly so the soil hasn't had a chance to dry out too much. We'll see how they perform over the growing season. Overall, I think this will do a good job of getting the water deeper into the grow bag.

Great olla.
A great olla. Surprisingly tough, will withstand some clanking & accidental impacts. Serves to reduce the manhours spent on watering at least 60%.

Work well to keep soil moist and plants healthy; better than wine bottle system
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love these ollas. They keep my vegetables and flowers healthier. The rubber stoppers fit the container well. I find it best to refill them every 2 to 3 days, in addition to some normal watering of my large garden pots. I don't mind refilling... it means the product is doing it's job. I have been using wine bottles with the clay wine bottle tubes you place in the soil. Ollas are a game changer. I put a couple of wine bottle in a few pots, and ollas in the others. The ollas are always empty, and the wine bottles full of water. Identical soil. I live in southern MN. Mostly 80s, but some 90s, 100 degree days.
