I love it! It works great for my work stuff, listening to my music, and writing my book. From my understanding the way I will be doing online school, all self-paced, that this will support that as well! Best $80 I ever spent!

Wish I had checked the reviews prior to purchase. Same issue as other customers. It has a 2024 Chrome OS install...the LAST install that it will update to (per start up message), meaning that you need to buy a newer Chromebook for continued updates (which Chrome states is 10 years from original hardware date...including refurbished ones). The manufacturer stickers have been removed, so it is impossible to determine the actual age of this Chromebook.

Arrived, turned on, and is working fine. Bought two for our kids. Easy set up with their Google Classroom accounts.

This laptop chromebook was just want my daughter needed. It came excellently wrapped with a charging cord. The features work great including the touch screen. Easy set up and charging. I will probably buy myself one as well.

But. I cannot download any extensions. It says update chrome. But I received a message that the system is too old, the last update has been received and there will be no more updates given. I can keep the Chromebook but it will go without updates. It also says I am in the most updated chrome and should be able to download the extensions with this version but it doesn't recognize the updated version of chrome. I really did not want to return this Chromebook. I called Amazon and they said that I should call the manufacturer and they can walk me through how to fix the issue. This was a few days ago. I simply have not had time to sit in the phone with them to figure out how to correct the issue. I sincerely hope that they did not refurbish a Chromebook. State that it is in excellent working condition when the possibility exists that there will never be another update allowed. That would literally mean they sent me out a Chromebook that will be almost able to use effectively but will quickly be outdated and useless. That is an irritating thought. I love dells. I'm also have had good experience with refurbished systems but this is my first time buying a dell reburshes. I will update when I can put my life on hold and spend however long in the phone with the manufacturer trying to correct the issue. If it can be fixed, I will change my rating and I will be very happy with the product. Let's hope for the best! Lol

Easy to set up. i had samsung chrome book for 8 years and it was starting to fail and slow down. i got this dell for less than $100. Working great now. i am well satisifed.

Computer arrived unusable; disappointing as it was a christmas gift for my son. Can’t upgrade and unable to return. I worked with Amazon for months to resolve this issue but there was no resolve. I was a lose/lose purchase; I lost the money, and the Chromebook does not work. Summary; the computer does not function, its performance is slow, and poor quality. No value for the money.

This refurbished computer's price seemed almost too good to be true, but we took a chance because of Amazon's 90 day guarantee, and it turned out to be a great buy. My grandson is using it for his kindergarten homework and a host of other things.
