It appears to be a little bit thick when you put it on your skin, but after a few seconds your skin starts absorbing the lotion easily and you feel it is so light as if nothing on your skin. This was particularly recommend by a dermatologist and so far seems to work well although I have not tested it yet in the full blaze of summer. I was surprised that the information leaflet was in four languages but not in English and since it is available on Amazon UK it would really benefit from having information in English as well. I also thought it was rather expensive.
