I love love love this alarm clock. I literally wake up smiling. The slow gradual increase in light helps me slowly wake up and it feels so good to wake up to a lot room. I also love the bird song. It’s delightful and my partner can’t hear it so I don’t wake him up.I’ve been waiting for a sunrise alarm clock that’s user friendly and under $100 and have been so satisfied with this. I travel with it and it travels well.I also love the other features like the sound machine I use sometimes on travels or the night timer. I also enjoy how you can dim the clock screen to almost not visible - I can only see it in the very dark room. I’m really sensitive to light so I appreciate this function.Well designed and executed. A delightful start to my day.

Exactly what I was looking for! So aesthetic and functional. I love the sound machine aspect and of course the sunrise setting for a more peaceful wake up. I’m about to start a new job and I am investing in my sleep and I think this will be perfect for getting adequate sleep. I got the mint green color and it’s a muted light green and matches my room perfectly! Absolutely love this product and would recommend to anyone who is the market for a quality alarm clock!

So form-wise it's 5 stars. I think it's a great shape. I love the linen-like fabric, very cool look. The "white" clock has a white cord but the clock is more cream, which I like. Function-wise it checks nearly every box. The display brightness is adjustable all the way down to off. There are different alarm sound options. The alarm brightness is also adjustable. In fact, even the time frame for how early the light comes on before the alarm is adjustable, so you can set it to start just 5 mins before the alarm which is a nice feature. It's easy to use and there's a back button if you go too far while setting the time (that's standard today but I remember days when you'd have to go all the way around again!) Two significant down sides-- the back up battery does keep the time and settings in place, but the alarm won't actually go off if you've lost power at that particular time. Hummm, the description made it seem like the battery back up was to still have the alarm go off. Major bummer I'd say. Also, when you snooze, the light goes off too. That kind of defeats the purpose of the light slowly waking you up if you can opt to turn if off for 9mins while in a sleepy state. I had a hard time finding anything that checked all the boxes for me, so I'll go with it, but I do wish it had those last two features. Overall it's a great clock and we'll designed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Previous clocks, I have tried have poor sound quality and it’s an unpleasant sound to wake up to. The sunrise one has many different options to choose from, and they sound very realistic and high-quality. I appreciate the simplicity of this clock. All of the controls are on the clock and you don’t have to pay for extra apps or services excellent product for the money.

EDIT: The customer service team was so wonderful! They responded quickly when I explained what was going on and sent me a new product. High quality, it looks great, and the light has been a game-changer for my mornings. I'm not a morning person, and the light and bird sound make my mornings more enjoyable and less abrupt. The light is plenty bright for me but I do think the design makes it less bright than some of the sunrise alarms with more surface area, but I like the look of this one so much, and as I said, feel it wakes me up just fine.Original Review:I really love the sound quality and look of this product. Unfortunately the timer for the light doesn't work which is the main reason I bought it. Instead of getting brighter over a set amount of minutes, it gets brighter over seconds.

There aren’t enough great things I can say about this alarm clock. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.The choices for the alarm sound are good, I love how it actually starts out with dim light and gets REALLY bright. It actually feels like the sunrise in my space and I love that. My body often wakes up 5m before the sound alarm goes off, something I really am grateful for. I was able to make a modification to this by cutting the power cable, and adding a voltage regulator to make it usb compatible (so I don’t need a wall plug). It keeps time well and I also love that I can have the time dimmed. My only suggestion for improvement would be that during daylight hours, the time gets brighter, and automatically dims when it gets dark, outside of that, this thing is perfect

I wish the light got brighter, my current room has no windows hence why I ordered this. Over all products does help me get out of bed and provide some type of light when I wake up which the goal

This alarm is from the ice ages. It must be set and programmed daily unless you wake up at the same time everyday. It’s not easy to change settings or program. There is no technology in this alarm clock. Yes it lights up. The sounds are too loud to sleep with them on. This is way overpriced.
