A Heartfelt Brew: My Experience with Organic Hawthorn Berry Tea
The media could not be loaded. I picked up the Zhivana Organics Organic Hawthorn Berry Tea (8oz) to try something new for general heart and wellness support. The product came well-packaged, and the berries are whole and clean—no dust or filler. The tea is easy to make: I steep about 1–2 teaspoons in hot water for 15–20 minutes. The flavor is mildly tart and slightly fruity—not too strong, but distinct. If you’re used to herbal teas, this one is very drinkable and can be blended with other ingredients if you prefer something sweeter or spicier. What sets this apart is that it’s organic and caffeine-free, which is a big plus. I’ve added it to my evening routine and have noticed it’s a calming, easy-to-digest drink. While I’m not making any medical claims, hawthorn is often recommended for general cardiovascular support, and this is a simple way to incorporate it.Overall, this is a high-quality herbal tea with clean ingredients and solid packaging. If you’re interested in natural options for wellness, it’s definitely worth trying

Absolutely delicious/after roasting
I usually drink roasted dandelion root tea as a coffee/caffeine replacement. So I bought this because it seemed like a really good deal. I tried it straight from the bag, in hot water, then filtered with a nut milk bag and made it as I usually do my dandelion root tea. Do not do that. It tastes like flowers. You will need to roast it before it will taste like coffee. I didn't realize this. I roasted it at 325 for 13 minutes mixing up every few minutes. Let cool then grinded it with my coffee bean grinder. Makes a quart size jar. Only takes a tablespoon of powder to make a quart size delicious drink. I still filtered mine with a nut bag and it tasted so good. So if you buy this and you're seeking that coffee replacement you will need to roast this. I gagged the first time I drank it. I thought it was spoiled or something. Thankfully it dawned on me there's a difference in taste when not roasted. Now that I roasted it is absolutely delicious and it makes a lot more than what you get in tea bags for much less the cost. Highly recommend(after roasting). Great quality.

Delicious as a tea
I'm addicted. I expected this root to make a bitter tea. I've tried dandelion in a salad it was awful. The tea has a slightly bitter after taste but it's mild and the general flavor is delicious. I'm trying to give up soda and I've drank this all week and barely drank anything else. I wish it came in a bigger bag. I simmer 2 table spoons of the root in a loose tea kettle for a few hours as recommended on a web page devoted to extracting the healthy benefits of dandelion root then pour into a half gallon jar and add water to the top, it makes a perfect drink.

Underweight product
This was my first time using hawthorn berries. I like the flavor and it does seem to reduce my blood pressure. But there is no way the bag contained 1 lb. I thought it felt a little light when I got it and now wished I would have weighed it. I've only used 1/2 C so far - I steeped it for several hours and then used it to add a dash to my tea. I needed to make another batch and decided to measure and weigh it. The product remaining in the bag (just over 2.5 C) weighs 0.64 lb. So the original package had just over 3 C and would have been just over 3/4 lb. Good product but I took off a star for false advertising of weight.

The smells amazing and tastes wonderful
The color is a bit more gray than bright purple, but this lavender smells amazing and tastes wonderful in cooking recipes. Perfect for teas and baking. I use mine for blueberry lavender lemonade which everyone loves in my house.
