Perfect blend with no bitterness
We found this coffee is the perfect blend of robust flavor and smoothness with no bitterness. We prefer medium roast beans a most dark roast beans taste “burned” to us. This has become one of three blends we rotate through.

Great brand. Great taste
Hands down my favorite coffee. Taste is smooth, caffeine content is slightly stronger than other coffees I have tried.

V. Good but Lucky Jim is better!
Kicking Horse is fine coffee. I loved this Three Sisters blend so much when I first got some, so I bought it again. Over time however it began to not seem as tasty anymore. I was just getting over the novelty and tired of it I think. Not that it changed or anything but I moved on to Kicking Horse Lucky Jim. Now that is some real fine Joe. (Laughter permissable.)

Transformed a non-coffee drinker
Excellent flavor, no bitterness, smooth drinking coffee. I am not a coffee drinker but after watching information about the difference in taste when grinding your own beans introduced me to this find on Amazon. It really transformed my view on drinking coffee. These beans when ground had a smooth flavor and no hint of bitterness. I can see myself becoming a morning coffee drinker now.

Decent stuff, but not exceptional.
To begin, Im NOT a paid reviewer of any kind. Just a regular dude trying to be helpful as I rely on reviews alot myself. This coffee is a bit too dark and bitter for me. I grind myself and make espressos daily for decades now. These tasted fresh enough, but not like direct from roastery fresh. Overall, the espresso I made from this Dark Horse lacked density and tasted too bitter. My go-to in a pinch shall remain Lavazza or Illy I suppose.

Smooth & Delicious!
I love this coffee! It is smooth and delicious. I wanted ground beans but couldn't find them, so I ended up with whole beans, which is just a bit more of a hassle. Nevertheless worth it for this coffee. Delivery was swift.

Local, small batch, limited availability
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is my son's second of two preferred coffees, the other being Peet's Major Dickasons. Kicking Horse is produced locally in smaller batches, so is not always available even though I have subscribed. However, this means it always arrives as a fresh batch.
