I needed to replace a wine bottle opener that disappeared after a party one night. I was about to spent a 10 spot on that when I finally came across the VinOrama Waiters Corkscrew for $5.99. After reading many positive reviews, I decided to go with it. I figured that if it was terrible, for the price I paid, that I would simply just throw it away. I must say that I am pleased. My first impressions were that of a quality tool. It is sleek and slender, yet it does have some weight to it. It feels good in your hand. It’s a lever and fulcrum designed ( think Archimedes ) 3 in 1 gadget that will cut the foil off your wine bottle, remove the cork and will even open a bottle of beer, all in a compact pocket knife design that won’t get tangled in your drawer. Don’t know how to use a Waiters Corkscrew? YouTube has many videos to show you just that. After you learn how to properly use it, ( open a few bottles of wine and you will become a pro ) I am sure you will like it as much as I do. I plan to purchase a number of these to give out to family and friends this upcoming Holiday Season. For the price, it will make a wonderful gift. Enjoy!

Best wine key for the price

It works as needed... does not bend or fall apart. IT LOOKS GREAT and does it job.Only con is the sharpness of the knife. It has a hard time cutting the tough warping at times

Pretty, functional, does what it should.

I took advantage of a price drop and bought this substantial double-hinged corkscrew. I've managed to bend several cheap waiter's corkscrews and decided to try something that might last longer. Used the VinOrama several times and so far it appears it'll do the job with ease. Bootlever is properly proportioned to make cork extraction very easy. Looks a lot better than those cheap corkscrews, too. Comes in a box so it makes a good "stocking stuffer" type gift for a wine drinker. I bought several.

The packaging is almost overdone but meets the quality of the actual key. Magnetic latch on the box with a velvet style bag I'll honestly probably never use but boy is this thing ready to go as a gift!The quality is really exceptional. Sturdy joints, the rosewood plates on the handle are beautiful with some bands of grain giving off a pleasant shimmer, the etching on the spine is another very nice touch. I'm flabbergasted that this was sold for 6 bucks. I bought two. Even at a higher price, wine-keys don't get much better than this.
