Provides great shade!
I bought this for the beach and it worked perfectly! It's easy to assemble and fits right on your beach chair. It's also lightweight and easy to carry to and from the beach. I like that it's adjustable and moveable. As the light changes you can swivel the umbrella for shade all day long. Definitely a must have if you want something simple to provide some shade. I love the color too!

No complaints! Functions well, mechanism works great, looks nice.
This is a nice piece of gear. The fabric seems like nice quality (we got the navy colored one). The neck of the umbrella has three different "joints" where you can adjust angle, which come in very handy to fine tune your shade. The clamp seems well made. We have to use a flat chair arm (no tubing to clamp to), but even so, it's gripping well. It also seems truly water repellent, so rain doesn't drop through it. The sliding mechanism up inside the umbrella is nicely designed, locking in open position with a satisfying little "snap," but collapsing back down very easily when you want to close it. There's a velcro strap that can be used to bind the umbrella to the pole when not in use, but we find it's quicker and easier to just pull the nice, provided nylon cover down over the closed umbrella (which essentially accomplishes the same thing). I bought it for my wife, who really likes it. So, all aces!

DOES THE JOB, with a caveat...
I bought this sport umbrella when a freak heat wave hit the San Francisco Bay Area. Temps at the SF 49ers game were forecast in the high 90's and my seat is directly in the sun at a place that is notorious for "no shade." The actual temperature in San Jose that day hit 103-degrees. The Versa-Brella worked beautifully under those extreme conditions. It provided wide, outstanding UV-protective, welcoming cool shade and, along with hydrating (of course!), I got through the 5-hour ordeal (pregame tailgate and post-game egress included) surprisingly well! My seatmate told me "That umbrella saved your ___!" It is easily adjustable to account for the day's changing angles of the sun. There is a caveat, however, which cost it a star in my opinion. Wind. While the clamp is sturdy and held the umbrella firmly in its spot, moderate winds that came late in the day caused the umbrella to easily tilt away stressing the flimsy joints that make the umbrella so versatile. There is a lot of play in the joint clips and I did not want to test how much toque they could take before they snapped, so I (wisely?) put a hand on the stem to keep it from snapping back and forth. In light winds the umbrella performed without that concern. Personally, I would not test the umbrella's sturdiness in moderate to brisk or steady winds for fear of damage to the product. But for UV-protected shade on a hot day, it met the test and more. Imagine my surprise when we noticed that people all around us had the same umbrella! That is an endorsement, of sorts. Stay cool!

Nice large shade.
3rd sportsbrella and first XL. This product has Ben great for days at the lake or anytime we are going to be sitting in the sun. Originally bought these things to fix to strollers when kids were babies, found they are good for about anything that’s about 1’ or less in diameter. The bags they come in are kind of the worst part because they will wear out before the umbrella. Overall a great way to have shade stay on you.

slips
The grip base is my only gripe. The umbrella is a nice color and doesn't absorb heat too much. I bought it for a boat, so the color fits in with the nautical boating theme. However, if it is windy at all, the base grip simply slips on the boat rail. For such a nice product, I wish a little more effort was placed into the base grip.

Great, tra
This works well and is simple to use. The regular size covers one person and can partially shade two people in beach chairs if you angle it right and the direction of the sun. It’s easy to transport and has been to field sports games, the beach, park, anywhere we bring the chairs to shade from the sun. It’s finally showing time of wear and tear after 7 years.

Worth the price great addition to child’s wheelchair
Works very well on my daughter’s wheelchair. We got this to help keep her out of the sun at outdoor events. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Picked this one because of the size and how it attaches.Durability:Reasonably durable. As durable and you expect an umbrella to be.Color:The color is fun and vibrant Size:perfectly sized for my 5 year olds wheelchair. I’d go bigger if it were for an adult wheelchair Build quality:good quality, has held up to wind and being tossed around the back of our vehicleValue for money:This is definitely worth the money. Keeping the sun and heat off our child who has a hard time with regulating her body temperature.

Nice shade umbrella
This umbrella is smaller than I expected (yes, I saw the dimensions in the description), kind of a hassle to install and a bit overpriced. That being said, once installed, it does the job. The clasp to secure it to the chair (that's the hassle) it's sturdy, even with the wind blowing the umbrella stays put. It comes in a bag with a shoulder strap which makes it easy to carry hands free, that was a nice touch. I'm sure that once I'll use it a couple times I'll get the gist of installing it and it won't be such a pain. Overall I'm happy with the product. It does what it's supposed to do. The shade is nice it keeps you cooler under it. I'd recommend the product.
