The hardware of D8 is better than D7, and special functions is different. D7 is suitable for DIYer, D8 is suitable for professionals, technicians and other people who have more vehicle needs. D8 can support the ECU Coding and CANFD Protocol, but D7 can't. And D8 support more special functions, D7 have 28+ special functions, D8 have 31+ special function and some hidden functions under the vehicle menu, such as zero-point calibration, fuel trim reset, etc. Note: special functions do not work on all vehicles, kindly provide us with vehicle Vin/ Make/ Model/Year and functions you need via email: xtoolofficial @ hotmail . com to check the compatibility.
