Super Bright and Feels Really Solid I’ve owned a lot of flashlights over the years, but this one is by far the best. The 2000 lumens is insanely bright — it lights up my whole backyard like daylight. The build feels heavy-duty and high quality, not cheap plastic like some others. The rechargeable battery is a huge plus. I’ve used it for a few weeks now and only had to charge it once. It also has multiple brightness settings, which come in handy when I don’t need the full power. It’s a bit pricey, but totally worth it for how reliable and bright it is. If you want a flashlight that actually performs like it says, this is the one.

Bright. Great value and quality. Long battery life. Super sick performance. Install kit is comprehensive. Fits great. Has some bull and isn’t light but will turn night into day. Dig it.

Got a love these for white light. They're bright, durable and easy to mount. I like having a strobe esp on a combat shotgun.

This is the third ProTac I’ve owned and installed on patrol rifles, and I’ll say the 2.0 is a great step up from the original. Twice the light output, easier to charge, and very user friendly install options from the factory. 10 tap programming is a valuable feature as well. I wish the pad mounting system was a bit better engineered, but it’s solid once it’s on. The pressure pad crane style plug is my only gripe as the contacts are made of very brittle metal. I was routing the cable and securing with cable management clamps on my handguard and as I plugged it into the tail cap, one of the contacts broke off rendering the pad dead and useless. Research shows this is common with Streamlight’s crane connections, so I replaced it with a pressure pad from Unity that has a stronger crane style plug, but that new pressure pad cost me almost as much as the light kit itself. I don’t mind paying for quality, I just wish this ongoing issue would be resolved so I wouldn’t be down a light and need to rush deliver a replacement for my patrol rifle. I’ll still buy them again as I own loads of Streamlight products, but it does make me consider the Surefire Scout in the future for long gun applications.

This version is much better than the original version and allows charging without removing the rear of the light. The tape switch can be disconnected and wrapped for daytime operations and easily plugged in for low light usage. Terrific build quality, and well worth the coin
