Maxi-Cosi Rodi SPS Child Car Seat, Stone

The Maxi Cosi Rodi SPS is excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it too any parent looking for the next stage up in car seats. It is comfortable for your child to sit on for long periods of time something cheaper makes are not. The adjustable headrest back is very easy to move to the height that is most suitable for your child. The thing that amazed me most about this product is how slim line it is and very light too making it an ideal seat that can be moved from car to car. In the instructions it does recommend removing your head rest in the car to give it the best fit and after doing this I would highly recommend you do so. My only gripe with this product is attaching the back to the booster you do need a bit more force then first thoughAn overall fantastic product we have had several Maxi Cosi car seats and been very happy with them yet again they do very well.

seats are comfortable, material well made, seats recline inline with the cars back rest which is good, so the children get a comfrotable ride and are not leaning forward. Has a seat belt holder and guide to ensure the seatbelt stays away from the face. However if you are planning to take this seats and use them to another car, the back rests come out quite easily if you lift them using the back rest which is really annoying.

I wanted good quality at a good price, having used maxi-cosi for group 1 seat was quite happy sticking with the brand. This seat was really simple to set up and use, it is light enough to transfer easily between cars and has enough safety features for my liking. Good level of comfort too - no complaints from son even after very long journeys

My boy rarely naps in the car, but when he does - this car seat has head rest generous enough for him to use it (comes quite far to the sides of the head).No, you wouldn't recline it, but then you don't really need to for a short drive.We have no food or drink policy in the car, so no trays or cup holders is of no issue for us.One major flow for me though, as a person responsible for buckling my boy into the seat, is how fiddly the process is. The 'adult' car seat is supposed to go through the bit by the shoulder, so that the seat belt stays at the correct height. Unfortunately the seat belt gets all entangled there, making it difficult to pull it further down, or retrack it.I wish this car seat still had its own kiddy seat belt.

So this is now our 6th Maxi Cosi seat, bought for safety and quality of the products. My new car only had iso fix in the front seat which is not the safest place for kids under 10. So needed a good seat using rear seat belt. Easy to position and comfortable for our son. Beware if you have leather seats you will need a seat protector as the Base will produce unnecessary indentations in it. Not sure why Maxi Cosi produced such sharp radii in the design? However the seat with a protector was great over a long journey with only the usual expected back seat commentary and impatience from our precious rear seat passenger....

Love this seat. So easy to use and my son is quite comfortable. Has fallen asleep many times in his chair. What I love about this is that it can turn into a bumper seat when he's older so not having to buy yet another seat. Great value for money.

Quite good seat, but is held in place by a regular seat belt. The back can be removed to become a booster seat for an older child. I feel it would benefit in having a removable five point safety harness for the tall toddler who has outgrown his child seat. The cushioned padding and the arm rests are great and look comfy.
