Great wire stripper!
Very high quality compared to others I've used. Easily and reliably strips wires of all gauges, and the screw cutter works flawlessly!I recently had my kitchen backsplash redone, and the screws for the wall plates would hit the tile in places, causing the wall plates to not sit flush against the tile backsplash. The screw cutter worked like a charm to shorten to screws so the wall plates could fit snugly against the tile. So handy!

Great pair of strippers
This is a great pair of wire strippers. Stay sharp longer than others I've used. Very durable. Small & light weight, yet strong enough to handle commercial applications.

Worth it
I've never been disappointed with Klein Tools equipment or the value they offer. To the weekend warrior these probably seem expensive, but I've used enough of the cheap strippers to know how badly that can go if you use them for daily use. I was skeptical of the "Klein Kurve" until I used a tool with it. I think it feels more comfortable in my hand and gives me better control. I'm right-handed, but I believe the curve works to your advantage regardless of which hand you use it in.If you hold it in your right hand, the markings are a bit easier to see (they appear to be laser etched) and if you hold it in your left hand the markings are stamped into the surface, but have the same finish as the rest of the tool, which appears to be a heavy duty black nitride. After you use this kind of tool for a while though, you don't pay much attention to the markings on it.The thick stamped steel frame is more rugged than the dime store design you might have used before. I use it for only copper as they were designed, and I haven't had any problem with dulling or alignment. The rubberized handle feels good in your hands even after hours of use. Its easy to operate with one hand even though it's not spring loaded because it opens easily with one finger, and there is a stop built in to keep it from opening beyond your hands' reach.I like the fact that I can press scotchlok connectors with these without having to switch to another tool. They're not 100% ideal for scotchloks (like any combination tool) because you have to press them from the back, but I don't work with them much anymore, and would rather not have to carry a separate tool for them.

Impressive range of wire sizes on one tool
These strippers are unique because they can strip a huge range of wire sizes from very tiny to large. Usually to span this range of wire sizes you would need to carry two separate strippers. They seem well built and strip well. They stink a bit coming out of the package but it dissipates.

Good value, durability
This is better for guys who might be doing some controls work with a good mix of 12 to 18 gauge and also semi rarely occaisonal smaller wires. Most electricians will rarely use anything smaller than 14 gauge except maybe 18 for lighting controls. There are much better faster tools out there for doing smaller wires like18, 20, 22, 23(CAT6), 24 gauge for data cables. I suppose it could be fine either as a backup for those sizes if you mostly use it for 12 or 14 or if you almost never but sometimes need to do those smaller sizes and don't want to have to buy another tool. Nice ergonomics for guys who prefer no spring strippers.

Favorite stripper
I'm an industrial maintenance technician at a plant and these have been my favorite wire strippers so far. I deal with a wide range of wire gauge from 12 gauge up to the 20's and this can strip them all cleany, the crimping part also has been working good for the quick connect spades and butt connectors, they take a little force but even with 2 hands squeezing hard they don't flex over so I'm fine with it.
