HDMI Pigtail Keystone Jack

HDMI wall plates can be tricky if they're up high. For me, the biggest problem was connector strain from the HDMI hanging off the wall plate. Sometimes it would fall out, other times it would just wear out the sides on the back side of the keystone. If you've got a keystone holding a length of cable (about 15 ft straight down in my case, with no supports and no practical way to add any, this thing delivers. Pull your HDMI, tape the end solidly to this, install the jack, presto: working cable. It also ends up with substantially less depth behind the plate than a regular HDMI keystone if you're working in an insulated wall.

This is what you want for a keystone the solid couplers are odd and hard to get in place without mangling the cable....this allows a nice sweep and great fit

The product description states that this keystone can handle HDMI 2.0 rated throughput - in other words 18gbps. While I can't 100% confirm this and honestly results may vary depending on manufacturing quality, I can say that I have had no issues running either 4K @ 60FPS or 4K+HDR @ ~30FPS. I couldn't create a 4K + HDR @ 60FPS test case. My test scenario was XBOX ONE X > 3-foot Premium High Speed HDMI Cable > Denon AVR > 3-foot Premium High Speed HDMI Cable > This Keystone Adapter > 8-foot Premium High Speed HDMI Cable > LG C8 Television. Before adding this new Keystone, I had an HDMI 1.4 rated Keystone. I experienced symptoms where the TV would either drop into "No Signal" error mode, or the bottom 1/3rd of the screen would often display a weird rainbow static artifact. After swapping this in, the issues have gone away entirely. Season 2 of Stranger Things in 4K + HDR and a few 4K X-Box games have displayed without so much as a momentary drop in signal. I had been having issues trying to find something that would work for me so I didn't have to use brushplates and feed my HDMI cables through those... These worked fine for me. I have tried 4k@60Hz (NOT HDR) connected to my receiver and the TV was able to recognise and send audio back to my receiver. I tried some other ones that didn't work for this purpose So if you needed CEC and ARK then buy these and not the other ones I had bough. Also work for 1440 and 1080 60/120. Also not tried HDR with these settings.

Used this to send video from a receiver to an 85” tv. Can carry 4k video. Easy to install and works great

After having used HDMI keystone jacks that did not have a pigtail like this one, this product is amazing! The pigtail allows for flexibility in installing, and I'm not worried about snapping the connector tip out of the jack when putting it back in the wall. Make sure you're using low voltage brackets or a high volume box, otherwise the pigtail will not have room to fit.

We tried an ordinary HDMI keystone, but the when the HDMI cable was attached, there was not enough room in the box to fasten the strap. When we used this product, we were able to manipulate the HDMI cable in the box so that the strap could be fastened properly. Good problem solver!
