Perfect portable monitor
I recently bought this monitor, and it has quickly become an indispensable part of my workspace. Here’s what stands out about this monitor:Lightweight Design: One of the most significant advantages of this monitor is its lightweight construction. It's incredibly easy to move around, which is perfect for anyone who needs a portable display solution.Effective Holder: The monitor comes with a nicely designed holder that is both sturdy and stylish. It supports the monitor well and adds to its overall aesthetic, making it a great fit for any desk setup.USB-C Connectivity: The USB-C power and display mode are game-changers. The convenience of not having to carry an external adapter or deal with multiple cables is a huge plus. It powers up directly via USB-C, which also handles the display signal, streamlining connectivity with various devices.Excellent Picture Quality: The display quality is impressive, offering vibrant colors and sharp details. Whether I’m working on detailed graphics or streaming video, the image clarity enhances the overall viewing experience.Compatibility with Multiple Operating Systems: This monitor works flawlessly with both Mac and Windows systems. Its compatibility ensures that I can switch between different devices without any issues, making it a versatile choice for a multi-platform user like myself.

Great little thing
The media could not be loaded. This little thing packs a lot of punch. The clarity is excellent. I got this for font editing because of the high DPI (331) and it delivers in that aspect very well. I also got it for photo editing and the high DPI is great for double checking the edit. If you set the scaling to 200% it's actually usable as a main screen for productivity apps like Photoshop. It's great for watching videos. At least in terms of picture quality- the speakers are not impressive but it has them if you need them. But the colors are amazing and I didn't even need to adjust the color profile, they were pretty accurate on factory settings. It works okay for gaming. There is some smearing/ghosting. The worst scenarios are when the scene has a lot of washed out grays, like in Dark Souls 3. You need to turn off motion blur in these games because the ghosting is already like motion blur. It was still playable but it was right on the threshold of what I would consider acceptable. I would definitely not play the whole game on this monitor. But in more bright games the smearing is hardly noticeable and the 13" screen is actually a great size for certain games like celeste and hollow knight. The form factor is nice. The magnets are strong enough that it doesn't slip. Construction feels solid. The kickstand keeps its angle and is sturdy.Overall I'm really impressed with this display for its price.

Convenient Travel Companion
I have been using this portable monitor for more than 8 months now. Way better quality than I expected. Picture quality is really good. This monitor having speakers is such a great bonus. The foldable cover also serves as a sturdy stand. The best part of this item, no need for its own power supply, just connect to the laptop and you’re good to go! That’s one less item to carry when traveling.

PERFECT!
Needed a second screen for working from home or working off-site. The screen is perfect for what I need it for. I haven't used the audio feature because I don't need it.

Perfect portable second monitor for laptop or iPad Pro
I purchased this on a bit of a whim, catching it on a seasonal sale as a companion to my iPad Pro after reading in a review that it could be powered entirely by an iPad Pro or any properly powered USB-C port. Given how light and slim it is, it would be perfect for business trips and to stash downstairs when working at night. I've now used with Stage Manger on a couple business trips and several couch or counter working session and I'm very happy with it. The brightness and sharpness are more than enough, it supports HDR, and even next to the iPad Pro's excellent display, it holds its own.I always power the display with the USB-C cable from the iPad Pro, then connect power to the iPad via the Smart Keyboards port. That setup will still drain the battery with a 15W power supply, but if you give it anything 20W or over, it'll power that setup and still charge, even with Bluetooth and WiFi active and the screens both cranked up a good bit. I also tested this monitor with a MacBook Pro and an HP Elitebook and it worked immediately, single cable, with both. This is only a 60Hz monitor with 300 nits of brightness, so while it's perfectly fine for business applications or even watching a show or movies, it wouldn't be ideal for gaming or sports viewing, with a 16"+ at 120/144Hz and 400 nits+ would be more appropriate for that application. I'm also not sure I'd use it for design proofing given that the colors are accurate, but not THAT accurate (I have a Dell Ultrasharp for that). But for my uses, this monitor is a win and I recommend it as such.

Does the Job
Just got the 4K version of this external monitor. Considering that I can also connect my iPad as an external, I was looking for something super lightweight with better resolution.I did a quick test and so far the color scheme, resolution, and weight are all fine. The build of the monitor itself seems sturdy as well even with the slim build. Very handy as I am on the road often.I had an issue with the stand initially, but their customer service resolved it in a timely manner so I am changing my review to 5 stars.

Works well, bright and clear, good value for money
Great kit with all needed cables, usb-c and HDMI provided. Enjoy having more vertical pixels than my windows laptops. Bright IPS display. Good viewing angles.

Disappointing
The cover / stand is inadequate to both hold the monitor up and keep it from breaking while traveling. I got about one use out of it.

Incredible sharpness, color and audio
The media could not be loaded. This portable is a hidden gem amongst many that are floating out there, and that includes branded options. It has an IPS screen that does up to 350+ nits brightness and a whopping 95% sRGB color gamut! This means it is incredibly accurate in color reproduction and you won't lose any sleep in editing photos on this. This also means that videos become very vibrant as the display has access to a ton more colors. Resolution is also another strong point as 2160x1440 on a 14 inch screen results in very high PPI. Of note, the screen also supports HDR but the relatively low peak brightness won't make it very effective and I can see why it is defaulted to off.Out of the box, the monitor pushes a bit more blue than the other colors but it isn't exactly an offensive amount. To correct the white balance, I bumped red to 52, dropped green to 48, and dropped blue to 47. Of course, your unit may behave differently from mine due to panel variance. Without any calibration, the "warm" color temperature preset yielded the highest default accuracy. The monitor also has built in speakers and for once, the volume is actually usable. It not only gets decently loud but is able to maintain audio fidelity without distorting. I tried various content on it and it put a grin on my face every time.General build quality is exceptional. The screen has an aluminum/metal exterior and comes shipped inside a protective cover that doubles as a stand. The display itself is glossy which could cause issues with glare but is also the reason why colors pop! It has OSD and power buttons on one side and ports on the other. Ports wise, there's two USB-C ports for power and/or input, and a mini-HDMI input port. Note that the screen needs at least 20W of input power to operate. It's also bundled with 3 cables: mini-HDMI to HDMI, USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A.The unit can be connected in a variety of ways. It can be connected and powered via USB-C only (if your device can provide it enough power). If connected by HDMI, it will need external power using a USB-C to USB-A or USB-C to USB-C cable. A 15W UL rated power supply is provided with the display. If connected via USB-C to a smartphone (or any USB-C port that cannot provide sufficient power), it will also need to be separately powered via a USB cable.Overall, this no name 2k monitor is well constructed, has very good brightness, has awesome color reproduction and has excellent audio for a portable monitor. It actually outperforms most displays I've tested. 5/5

Amazing screen quality: great colors and very sharp!
Pros:- Extremely sharp image! The image is extremely sharp because of the 1440p resolution combined with the not that big 14in screen size. This means that the pixels are actually really small. I can't really see any pixels from a normal viewing distance.- Great color accuracy: My only complain there is that I feel like the blues are a bit strong, but that's adjustable. The colors look amazing, ever more so with HDR on. I would use this for photo/video editing, it almost feels like a MacBook screen.- Very slim and light body, making this a very portable monitor.- Nice stand/cover: It offers great protection to the display, while still offering two viewing angles when opened.- Only draws around 6W of power at mid brightness and auto HDR, so this should be able to be powered by a small 10W power brick.Cons:- Glossy finish on screen. It does make the image look better and sharper, but at the expense of reflections on the display.- The resolution being this sharp on a overall pretty small display makes it so that the content on the display will be kind of small. It's like if your computer thought that this was an average 27in 1440p monitor, but it's only 14in. This issue was more notable on my older MacBook, as I couldn't find a way to scale it at 150% without also scaling the main display, but there's probably a way around this, as I didn't have this issue on Windows.- Issues with iPad compatibility: Screen format is not 16:10, it's a bit taller, which I wouldn't mind. But when it's plugged to my iPad, this leads to the image being a bit stretched and not as sharp as it should be. This is a bit upsetting, as I was planning to use this screen with my iPad a lot. It's still usable, but not ideal for daily use. HOWEVER, there were no such problems on Windows or Mac computers, so this might be more of an iPad OS not being optimized for unusual screen ratios.- The cover doesn't magnetically close, it only rests on the screen and can be opened very easily in transport.Overall, this monitor is amazing for the price. The iPad compatibility is a bit upsetting. My guess is this is more of an iPad OS problem, but it still affects my experience with this device. Hopefully it will be fixed in the future. But with any other device, I've had an amazing experience with this screen. Would highly recommend!

Compact, decent size, and good quality monitor
My boss recommended this portable monitor as we do a lot of tab switches, programs, etc. with our digital marketing. Besides Windows giving me issues for attaching a second monitor, this compact iPad looking monitor is actually almost perfect for my work day. It's thin, comes with a magnetic case for transport, and holds itself up really well. Only two wires needed for hook up; one in the wall, and HDMI to your computer, and you're set! The quality is way cleaner than I had expected as well. I would recommend this if you're looking for a second monitor for work, I haven't tested it for gaming yet, but I bet it would be great for that too.

Very sharp… works perfectly with 1 USB-C cable!
I am really happy with this monitor. I have been using it for 3 weeks now and it is perfect. Please note that I did see some intermittent “flashes” on and off of the image when using the HDMI connection and a separated power source. However, it is rock solid when using the provided USB-C cable directly connected to my Dell XPS13 and my Dell latitude 5520.
