A big and very interesting and challenging expansion

Wow, the first game we played with this set was so long. There was a card that kept us all with 3 cards for a good chunk of the game, and then we cleared a hurdle and suddenly there was money galore. There are some really interesting interactions with this set. The cards are gorgeous and fun. If you are looking to add a new dimension to your Dominion play - this is a unique and interesting set.

Any Dominion expansion is worth it. Highly recommend this expansion if you play!

I do enjoy Plunder more than this one, but I am glad I bought Rising Sun too. The Prophecies can be a little tricky (some are wonderful, some are awful, and some neutral), so you've got to really pay attention to whether you want to use the cards that trigger them - and how soon you want to trigger them. The new treasure called "Rice" is similar to "Bank" (from Prosperity), but it goes by the number of types of all cards, not the number of treasure cards in play.If you're new to Dominion, don't make this your 1st or 2nd expansion. There's more to enjoy when the other expansions are used, too.
